2028 Yann Kamagate
The big man has been rising up the ranks, and it was easily seen why, as he impressed as a true big with his length, mobility, and overall feel at his position. Kamagate did a great job in operating in pick and roll situations, curling to the rim, and finishing at the rim or with touch. But he also showed solid handles, running from rim to rim, ability to protect the rim defensively, and impact on the glass. And after watching him, I believe that he will only get stronger and develop more of his offensive game, which makes him a dangerous big in the coming years.
2027 Jeremy Jenkins
I was truly impressed with what Jenkins shows on the court; he outworked his opponents, played with an excellent motor, and brought physicality as well as skill as a big. Absolutely loved his activity around the basket, finishing well, and bringing energy on the glass. A strong finisher at the rim but also impressed with his feel and footwork as well as being able to push out in transition.
2027 Zion Green
Green was one that we highlighted earlier this week, and he continues to grab our intrigue with his game. As a 6’10 prospect, his ability to be used in a variety of ways and areas makes him such a versatile piece, whether it is using his size and athleticism to finish at the rim, or be just as effective with his shot-making from the perimeter. He can hurt you in a variety of ways and his fluidity and confidence from inside and out make him a tough matchup for any opponent.
2027 Beckham Black
Black, one of the top prospects at the event, was able to shine as one of the premier point guards on the court. When he is on the court, he instantly becomes a playmaker in so many ways, effectively being a scorer off the bounce or with his shot, displaying composure and patience in getting to his spots, showing touch to finish over defenders, and also one who has an excellent feel in being able to set up his teammates.
2027 Ahmed Nur
Nur had a lot of people talking with his performance at the camp, including a 31-point showing on Wednesday. As a 6’10 prospect, he was able to be a tough matchup on the court with his ability to not only stretch the court but also shine with his fluidity at his size. Nur showed tremendous confidence in stretching the floor, displaying strong range, and overall confidence to knock down shots. But also shine with his length in scoring off the bounce at the rim as well as the ability to make an impact defensively.
