2027 Jaden McCandies (All Carolina)
The 6’6 long prospect was able to really shine on the big stage this weekend for his team, bring a driving force and a matchup problem for teams. With his blend of length, skillset, fluidity out in transition, and shot-making from multiple levels, McCandies brings value in an array of areas on the floor. He was able to really showcase his full arsenal this weekend in leading his team.
2027 Isaiah Hunter (HYAA Elite)
Hunter does a great job pushing the pace, getting the ball up the floor quickly while keeping teammates involved with his unselfish approach. He plays with strong energy and effort, setting the tone on both ends and leading by example. Offensively, he’s been assertive all weekend—attacking downhill, embracing contact, and finishing or getting to the free-throw line. A true go-to option, his combination of leadership, toughness, and playmaking makes him a highly impactful guard. Overall, he had a strong weekend for his team.
2028 Zavion Funderburk (PAL Stars)
Funderburk is one that we have talked about a lot in the past and he continues to bring that same impact and shot making to the court that he did this past high school season. He has good overall size as a guard, and his confidence in being able to knock down shots from the perimeter can really change the game. However, he isn’t just a shot-maker as he continues to mix it up offensively, making him a well-balanced offensive threat.
2028 Max Whitmer (Swift Sports)
Whitmer might have been the best shooter in the building this weekend that we saw, as he did not lack confidence with his game. He proved to be a lethal perimeter threat, showcasing his ability to change a game with his range. He displayed unwavering confidence from beyond the arc, consistently stretching the defense. His shot-making ability and spacing impact make him a dangerous weapon every time he steps on the floor.
2030 Ivan Jenkins (Carolina Stars)
Jenkins put together an impressive showing, operating as a true lead guard with a smooth and controlled feel for the game. He does a great job creating his own shot, playing with poise and confidence, while also finishing strong around the basket. Jenkins showed the ability to run the offense effectively and make plays when needed, proving to be a high-level young guard that continues to impress.
