2026 6’6 Markus Kerr (Chambers)
On one of the biggest stages here in North Carolina with some of the best players around the state, it was 2026 6’6 Markus Kerr stepped up and made it easy to see why he should be named MVP of the camp. It may have been one of the best showing I’ve seen from him consistently, as Kerr looked locked in, was assertive offensively, used his size to his advantage, and was able to consistently make his presence. He showed scoring ability inside and out, got to his spots, knocked down threes, hit the mid-range shot, and finished at the rim, while also being active in a variety of other ways. Again, this may have been the best showing overall from this young man that I’ve seen.
2026 6’9 Justin Caldwell (Berean Baptist)
Caldwell was impressive as well, really giving everyone a glimpse of his strength and physicality as a prospect. Time after time watching him, Caldwell physically outmanned opponents, bullying his way in the paint, finishing strong at the rim and through defenders, and also finishing well through contact. One can see that he has continued to put in the work, getting bigger and stronger as a prospect as he looks to be a force for his new school. Caldwell was aggressive throughout the setting of this camp, working to get to the block, moving and operating well up and down the court, sealing himself down low, and also showing his ability to get position as well as push opponents out of the lane defensively.
2026 6’7 Elton James (WS Christian)
James was extremely productive throughout the game, reminding several viewers of his impact, his overall game and skill set, and his development. James presents good size and feel, along with an overall strong skill set. He ran the floor extremely well, was able to show his ability to operate inside and out, made strong passes and good reads, and was a consistent scoring presence on the court. James played with good energy and showed the ability to be a versatile piece on the court. He was strong out in transition and beating opponents down the court, creates a tough mismatch for opponents, and can guard multiple positions.
2026 6’8 Josiah Sanders (Berean Baptist)
Sanders continues to prove why he is one of the top prospects in the state, and he has had a strong summer overall. He continues to remind everyone why he is being recruited by so many schools and that list could continue to grow. He has an intriguing set of tools with his game, especially at his size and position. Sanders is truly one who can play and operate from multiple positions, scoring inside and out, being a playmaker for others, or showing the natural ability to create and score for himself. With his frame, it is hard for opponents to slow him down getting inside but also shows a great feel in facilitating to opponents. He impacts the game in an array of ways and can be used in a variety of areas on the court, which was on display.
