2027 J’Sean Sanders (SC BlueJays)
Sanders continues to be a prospect in South Carolina that deserves more attention with what he is able to provide. He brings solid overall size along with versatility, being able to flourish with his blend of athleticism, multi-level scoring, and ability to defend/operate from multiple positions on the court. Sanders certainly looks the part and produces as a leader for his team, as he continues to develop, add more to his game, get bigger and stronger, and thrive as an impactful prospect all around.
2030 Treyvon Smith (Team Unleashed)
Team Unleashed 2030 Jr. EYBL certainly has names that you will want to check out, jot down, and monitor from the state, and Smith was one that quickly impressed with his size and impact. The forward plays with a strong motor, running well from rim to rim, displaying a strong skillset and feel as a big to score effectively in the paint, and his overall energy on the glass and defensively. Smith brings consistency and production at his position, and we are eager to see how he continues to develop as a prospect.
2028 JoJo Brown (Team Charlotte)
Talk about a lightning-quick point guard that was able to flourish as a leader out on the court, Brown thrived as a primary ballhandler, playmaker, and scorer for his team throughout the weekend. A quick, twitchy guard that shows speed out in transition, relentlessly attacks the defense out in transition, creates well for himself off the bounce, but also can be a facilitator for others. Brown really was able to shine as one of the primary weapons for his team all weekend long.
2028 Gary Grear (KOC)
Talk about another list that you find Grear on, but he continues to thrive and brings tremendous consistency as a leader on the court. What you have to appreciate with Grear’s game is that opponents look to slow him down, but he still finds ways to be such an impactful scorer from all over, whether it is forcing contact, attacking and finishing strong, knocking down shots from multiple levels… he finds ways to put the ball in the basket as well as play well with others around him.
2027 Heath Johnson (PSB Elite Barnes)
Johnson has been having a strong summer and should be moving up the boards for college coaches, as the 6’8 thrived in a big way all weekend long. A double-double type big, he was able to be a huge presence in the paint with an impressive blend of strength, skill, and feel, along with being such an active presence on the glass to create more opportunities for his team. A fluid big man that runs the floor well, he was able to finish with touch, along with being a force with his back to the basket; an underrated big that seems to be trending in the right direction.
