Talk about production, the lengthy 6’6 Adafe Price gives it every time onto the floor. While the production is consistent it is also given across the stat sheet. You see Price is one of those guys who just walks on the floor and gets it done.
Unfortunately his sophomore stats were not logged however his freshman year stats tell the tale. Playing at Albemarle High School, Price led his team to a 26-1 record. Price averaged 11 points, 6 boards, 2 steals, 1.5 assists, and 1 block per game. As a 6’3” freshman, he shot 35% from beyond the arc and 50% from the field as a whole.
Against the state’s best at the prestigious NC Top 80, Price showed the ability to make shots at all 3 levels and the ability to defend multiple positions. After his performance at the NC Top 80, we wrote, “Adafe showed great energy throughout the day. He rebounded and played aggressive defense, which is rarely seen at exposure camps. Offensively, Adafe was great around the rim using excellent body control as well as pump and ball fakes. He made several nice moves attacking the basket, but will need to extend his perimeter shooting to round out his overall skill set. As Adafe continues to improve his perimeter game, his stock will continue elevate to a new level. Without question, Adafe has all the tools and ingredients to be an impact player at the next level.”
Place Price firmly on the list of players to watch at CP3 LIVE, July 15-17. He will not only impress but maybe walk away with a few offers.
