6’0 ’30 Zyire Howard (Juice Crew)

Although several guys were difference-makers in this contest, Howard was undoubtedly the focal point and two-way leader of this group. He did legitimately everything. Howard controlled the glass, defended multiple positions, and operated as the primary hub offensively. In addition to being physically overwhelming, he understands how to consistently outwork opponents through his nonstop motor. Howard can handle the ball and knock down the occasional jumper but is at his best when attacking the basket and finishing, getting to the line, or setting up others.
5’5 ‘30 Amari Mason (DFE Elite)

Despite his lack of size, Mason made a lasting impression through his pace, craftiness, and production as an offensive cog. He’s a quick, heady floor general who does a quality job of breaking down opponents, touching the paint, and applying pressure as a scorer from multiple levels. Mason is a willing playmaker who sees the floor well, especially in transition. He also provides nice energy defensively and anticipates well to force turnovers.
6’2 ’29 Miles Hudson (Virginia Havoc)

Anyone who watched this contest should be able to appreciate everything Hudson brought to the table. He’s long, athletic, and physically imposing with a high motor and excellent nose for the ball. Hudson finishes well around the basket but doesn’t need a ton of offensive touches to make his presence felt. Between his ability to dominate the glass and protect the rim defensively, he poses constant problems for opponents. Hudson is already physically superior to his peers, so it’ll be interesting to watch his growth going forward.
5’10 ’26 Josh Dorsette (Save Sports)

Though there are plenty of impactful floor generals on display, Dorsette is a somewhat of a rarity as an unselfish, pass-first point guard. He’s smart, quick, and visibly prioritizes getting others involved in the action. Dorsette runs the offense with great pace and pressure as a penetrator, forcing the defense to collapse and allowing him to consistently locate the open man. He handles the ball with poise and looks to set up others whenever possible, but can score efficiently within the flow of the action. Dorsette also defends with energy and toughness.
6’2 ’27 Joel Nicholson (Team Loaded 804)

The Loaded 804 squad has various intriguing pieces, and that certainly includes Nicholson and the flashes he showcased in this contest. Playing up an age group, he displayed polish as a self-creator and scoring threat. Nicholson mixes it up well from all levels but is arguably at his best when getting in the midrange and accessing his smooth pull-up game. He’s a capable finisher and three-point shooter.
