6’2 ’27 Jayonta Blanchard (Bricksquad Monopoly)

Given the way he set the tone from the guard position, it’s easy to appreciate what Blanchard brings to this team. He’s a tough, heady floor general with a nice blend of feel, quickness, and two-way instincts. Blanchard did a nice job of breaking down opponents, attacking off the dribble, and scoring or setting up others. He penetrated well to finish at the basket but also knocked down jumpers from midrange and beyond the arc. Blanchard highlighted craftiness as a creator and passer, and defended the point of attack with energy and toughness.

6’6 ’28 Vernon Hope (DFE)

It doesn’t take long to notice that Hope possesses an array of enticing physical tools. He’s already an extremely long, fluid athlete with the ability to handle the ball and apply constant pressure as a downhill threat. Hope looks to attack the basket and finish whenever possible, but can also knock down open jumpers as needed. He’s able to wreak havoc defensively with his motor and length. Hope rebounds his position well and plays with a chip on his shoulder.

5’11 ’28 Khari Nesbitt (DMV Impact)

Despite some struggles as a team, Nesbitt did everything possible to propel this group forward. He’s a strong, heady floor general with a well-rounded game and the ability to set the tone on both ends of the floor. Nesbitt consistently applied penetrating pressure off the dribble, showing the ability to touch the paint, make quality decisions, and score at an efficient rate. He displayed scoring polish from all levels, but was at his best when getting downhill. Nesbitt also offered a physical presence as a defender and rebounder, especially for his size.

6’2 ’26 Quis Timberlake (VA Havoc 434)

Rounding out this group, Timberlake should definitely appeal to coaches still looking for unsigned prospects. He’s a very steady, well-rounded guard who knows how to operate within a role or expand his production when needed. Timberlake scored the ball efficiently and within the flow of the action. He mixed it up well from all levels, but arguably found the majority of his opportunities as a cutter and spot-up threat. However, Timberlake can create his own shot and make the extra pass when available. He’s a solid defender at his position.
