6’7 ’27 Isaiah White (Butler)
Despite some struggles as a team, it was easy to appreciate everything White brought to the table. He’s a long, wiry forward with great size, athleticism, and versatility. Offensively, he stood out through his activity and finishing ability around the basket. White is capable of attacking from the wing, but is at his best when battling on the offensive glass or running the floor in transition. That being said, so much of his value comes through his ability to wreak havoc defensively. White’s length, motor, and overall nose for the ball allows him to shine as an overwhelming defender across multiple positions. He blocks shots extremely well inside, but can also shut down perimeter players with relative ease. White should appeal to a ton of college coaches.
6’6 ’28 Jackson Reed (Lincoln Charter)
There were several new names worth noting, and that certainly includes Reed and his smooth, skilled inside-out game. Whether posting up, operating from the midrange, attacking off the bounce, or spacing the floor, he applied pressure in a multitude of ways. He utilizes his length and motor to make his presence consistently felt as a rebounder and switchable defender across multiple positions. Reed is an impactful two-way piece who can find production in various types of roles. Only a junior, expect him to be a popular name amongst college coaches going forward.
6’0 ’29 Logan McMichael (Northeast Guilford)
Although the Rams have a ton of guys who stand out as meaningful contributors, McMichael brings so much value as a smart, skilled, malleable all-around piece. He’s a natural glue-guy who does legitimately everything well on the court. McMichael shoots the ball at a high percentage, attacks closeouts, and finishes or sets up others through his willingness to make the extra pass. He’s a capable initiator with the vision and handle to reliably dictate the action as a main creator. McMichael cuts, spots up, and simply knows how to operate as a connecting piece. He’s a quality defender with energy, toughness, and a rugged nature. Given everything he brings to a team, McMichael should remain a very productive piece throughout his high school career.
6’4 ’27 Darius Barnett (Dudley)
It’s easy to see that the Panthers have a variety of pieces throughout this roster, but Barnett is a guy who always seems to stand out as a leader by example. He’s an incredibly tough, physical wing with the size, motor, and low-maintenance identity to produce with or without the ball in his hands. Barnett is a well-rounded piece who consistently impacts the game through his effort and athleticism. He can create, set up others, and score in various ways, but arguably stands out more through his defense, rebounding, and general nose for the ball. Barnett does a terrific job of making hustle plays and filling in the gaps on both ends of the floor.
