6’1 ’27 Kayson Dawson (Upward Stars Pee Dee)
Given his ability to consistently and effortlessly fill it up as an all-around scorer, it’s unclear how more programs aren’t already involved with Dawson. He’s a very skilled, polished guard with great size, length, and instincts as a creator for himself and others. Dawson mixes it up at an aggressive rate from all levels, showing the ability to pick his spots or take what the defense gives him. He’s able to break down opponents off the bounce and apply phenomenal pressure in the midrange, but also knocks down three-pointers at a strong rate and puts consistent pressure on the rim. In addition to his impressive scoring arsenal, Dawson is a useful playmaker, active defender, and nice rebounder for his size/position.
6’0 ’27 Grant Jacques (Rising Pros Training)
Although we’ve grown accustomed to Jacques dominating week after week, it still never gets old. This most recent event only further solidified his status as a priority for college coaches. Jacques continues to deliver as an all-around leader who sets the tone with his vocal presence, nonstop motor, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He’s a very skilled, well-rounded offensive piece who can knock down jumpers at an extremely high percentage while applying pressure off the bounce and putting others in scoring positions. Additionally, Jacques displays an incredibly high motor, strong nose for the ball, and a willingness to sacrifice his body whenever necessary.
5’11 ’26 TJ Troy (SC Blazers)
The lone unsigned senior within this list of standouts, Troy should definitely have a place at the next level for coaches looking for late additions to their roster. He’s a very smooth creator and polished scorer who can dictate the action, set up others, and fill it up in a variety of ways. Troy possesses a quick first step, tight handle, and the ability to effortlessly generate clean looks off the bounce. He shoots the ball very well, both from midrange and beyond the arc, yet knows how to apply consistent pressure as a threat off the bounce. Troy is a willing passer who sees the floor well when attacking. He’s capable of operating as a lead guard or finding success without the ball. Troy also provides a pesky defensive presence.
6’1 ’27 Matthew Dickens (Tennessee Travelers)
Between his extremely high motor, rugged nature, quality skillset, and unselfish approach to the game, Dickens showcased a very impactful identity. His nonstop energy allows him to consistently overwhelm opponents on both ends of the floor. Dickens is a well-rounded offensive piece who can initiate the offense, create off the bounce, set up others, and knock down jumpers at a high percentage along the perimeter. He excels at filling in the gaps and doing the dirty work, yet also finds consistent production for this group.
