6’5 ’27 David Oates (Bout A Bucket)
There are several valuable contributors on this roster, and Oates stands out through his impressive combination of motor, athleticism, and physical tools. He’s a long, tough, physical forward with excellent energy and a strong nose for the ball. Oates has an enticing frame, which he isn’t afraid to utilize to overwhelm opponents on both ends of the floor. He consistently outworks opponents for rebounds and extra possessions, and shows a willingness to make hustle plays at a high rate. That being said, he also finishes well around the basket, both when driving and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities.
6’6 ’29 Emmanuel Moore (Team Loaded 804)
Though young and progressing, it’s easy to see the long-term appeal surrounding Moore. He’s still just truly beginning to harness his upside and physical tools, but already understands how to use his size and athleticism to disrupt opponents on both ends of the floor. Moore is very long and fluid with the ability to impact the game without requiring the ball in his hands. His skillset is still developing, but he finds success by playing hard, flying around defensively, and positioning himself to secure rebounds. Moore is also a solid finisher around the basket. Expect him to trend upward as he begins to tap into his potential.
6’6 ’29 Gideon Anum (Durham Hurricanes)
Although we’ve had steady viewings of him over the last year, there’s still so much intrigue surrounding Anum and his world of upside. He’s a very fluid athlete with phenomenal length and the ability to impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. Right now, Anum finds most of his scoring opportunities as a cutter, transition threat, and finisher around the basket. He can also attack off the dribble and knock down jumpers on occasion. Anum shows flashes of defensive versatility and rebounding prowess.
6’3 ’28 Gary Grear (KOC)
The KOC squad continues to stand out as one of the most well-oiled machines you’ll find, and Grear is a massive reason why. He operates as a primary creator, showing the ability to burden a nice load as a playmaker and overall scoring option. Grear excels at getting downhill and putting pressure on the rim, utilizing his strength and craftiness to consistently finish around the basket. He’s a reliable midrange scorer and capable shooter from beyond the arc. Grear is a willing passer who reads the floor well and knows how to initiate the offense as needed. He’s a tough defender with a physical approach and the ability to set the tone on both ends of the floor.
