5’10 ’29 Ant Gray (Team CP3)

Although still coming back from injury, it’s easy to see the level of IQ and poise Gray brings to a team. He’s an extremely smart, skilled guard who offers terrific balance between playmaking and three-level scoring. Gray handles the ball very well and doesn’t allow defenders to speed him up. He touches the paint, creates for others, and picks his spots as a scoring threat. He’s also a reliable defender who positions himself nicely to make plays. Gray is somewhat of a coach on the floor and doesn’t necessarily need a ton of shots to make an impact.

6’2 ’29 Joel Giant (Team CP3)

Every team needs guys who do the little things and understand how to fill in the gaps, and that’s exactly what Giant offers. He’s a tough, rugged, physically overwhelming wing/forward who plays bigger than listed height. Giant’s nonstop motor and general aggressiveness give him obvious value as a rebounder and defender across multiple positions. He finishes through contact, makes solid decisions with the ball in his hands, and understands how to play to his strengths. Giant definitely shines as an x-factor.

5’8 ’28 Avery Scales (Team United GSO)

After building his foundation as a shooter, Scales has clearly worked to become an all-around guard. Between an improved IQ, handle, and playmaking sense, he’s almost a completely different player. Scales still knocks down three-pointers at a high percentage off the catch, but certainly appears more comfortable hitting jumpers off the dribble or getting downhill and attacking. He mixed it up well from all levels while creating for others and setting the tone as a floor general. Though small, Scales does a great job of positioning himself to make plays defensively. Expect him to continue trending upward.

6’0 ’29 Alijah Rollinson (BBB Elite)

Although there were multiple intriguing prospects from this team, Rollinson stood out through his ability to impact all facets of the game. He scored from all levels, defended multiple positions, and consistently operated as the main creator. Rollinson offers a strong blend of IQ, size, and athleticism with a polished skillset. He plays with a high motor, which allows him to regularly stand out defensively and on the glass. Rollinson simply did everything to shine as a leader for this group.

6’5 ’28 Azhir Waddell (Carolina Bulldogs)

Although there were several impact players from this group, it’s easy to appreciate everything Waddell provided as an interior piece. He possesses an incredibly strong frame with soft hands, great feet, and a physically overwhelming presence on both ends of the floor. Waddell clearly has the physical makeup of a football player but displays great feel, toughness, mobility, and overall skill. He finishes with touch around the basket and plays extremely well through contact. Waddell is a terrific screener and impactful threat in the two-man game. He’s also a tremendous rebounder who seems to get his hands on every loose ball in the area.
