6’3 ’27 Whit Lamb (Eastern Carolina Phenomz)
Given all the ways he impacts the game, Lamb consistently shines as a glue-guy and leader by example. He’s a steady, well-rounded guard who always seems to do a healthy amount of everything on the court. Lamb is comfortable running the offense as a main creator and offering a quality balance between playmaking and scoring from all levels. He’s able to consistently take what the defense gives him, but doesn’t need a ton of touches to make his presence felt. Lamb is also a reliable defender, rebounder, and adaptable two-way piece who can alter his approach based on team needs.
6’4 ’27 Aiden Horton (District 5ive)
It’s become increasingly rare to find guys who play the right way, but Horton certainly fits that bill. He’s a skilled, well-rounded wing with positional size, a high motor, and the ability to seamlessly operate in various roles on both ends of the floor. Horton is a malleable offensive piece who can reliably pass, handle, and score in various ways. He’s a great perimeter shooter and quality finisher who lurks to capitalize on second-chance opportunities on a regular basis. Defensively, Horton is willing and ready to defend the best player on the opposing team. In one contest, he defended a college commit and held him to just four points.
6’6 ’27 Finn Collini (Save Sports)
Although we’ve given a lot of praise to Collini over the last few months, he continues to stand out as a name worth noting. He’s an elite marksman with the ability to consistently knock down jumpers at a high percentage. Collini hits seemingly everything he attempts off the catch, but is more than comfortable coming off movement, attacking closeouts, and converting pull-ups within a few dribbles. He utilizes his length well defensively and on the glass. Collini continues to expand his game while clearly embracing his strengths as one of the top shooters in the state.
6’3 ’27 Dakarai Thompson (Ovideo Magic)
There were so many impressive pieces on the Ovideo Magic squad, and Thompson stood out as much as anyone. He’s a long, smooth wing with dynamic athleticism, excellent polish, and useful versatility on both ends of the floor. Thompson showed the ability to score the ball in a variety of ways while highlighting playmaking instincts, rebounding prowess, and a switchable defensive presence. He’s a malleable piece who can thrive as a focal point or within a role. Thompson’s blend of IQ, physical tools, and two-way impact make him a valuable asset. Expect scholarship-level coaches to get involved.
