6’2 ’26 Chaise Smith (DWWD)
Although he’s already widely regarded as one of the top unsigned seniors in North Carolina, Smith continued to highlight what makes him such an electric player. He’s a long, wiry athlete with the handle, playmaking, and scoring polish to consistently generate clean looks for himself and others. Smith mixed it up well from all levels and highlighted his usual amount of flair in the open floor. He also rebounded at a solid rate and made plays defensively.
6’5 ’27 Austin Moye (FBP Elite Barbee)
Quietly one of the better performers from the weekend, Moye was a massive part of FBP Elite’s success. He consistently found ways to get involved in the action through his motor, physicality, and useful array of skills. Moye regularly outworked opponents on the glass, made plays defensively, and ran the floor hard in transition. Offensively, he displayed the ability to finish, post-up, and attack off the bounce. Moye also saw the floor well as a passer.
5’10 ’27 Zarion Hobbs (7th Nation Warriors)
It doesn’t take long to appreciate everything Hobbs does to shine as a leader for this squad. He completely controls the action from the point guard position, utilizing his high IQ, tight handle, and terrific pace to put nonstop pressure on opposing defenses. Hobbs is quick enough to break down opponents and touch the paint at a high volume, where he’s able to finish, convert floaters, or set up others in scoring positions. He’s a capable shooting threat. Hobbs is also a pesky defender at the point of attack.
6’0 ’27 Joeliel Carabello (7th Nation Warriors)
Although he might not receive as much attention as others, Carabello is an undeniably important piece to this team. He’s an absolute warrior who takes as much of a physical toll as any player you’ll find. Carabello plays with incredible toughness and a nonstop motor, which allows him to impact the game with or without the ball in his hands. He willingly does all the dirty work on both ends of the floor. Carabello fights for every rebound and loose ball while making his presence felt as an aggressive defender. He sacrifices his body at every opportunity and pops up quickly. Carabello also mixes it up well as a scorer and passer.
6’2 ’28 Kristopher Deshotel (5th Element Elite)
Given the smooth, steady way he sets the tone as a focal point, it’s impossible to ignore everything Deshotel brings to this team. He operates as their main creator and overall source of offense. Deshotel is a reliable shooting threat, both off the catch and dribble, who can score the ball at a consistent rate from all levels. He’s a willing passer who draws enough defensive attention to generate quality looks for others. Deshotel also utilizes his length and athleticism to rebound and make plays defensively.
