6’5 ’27 Bray Hubbard (BMSA Raiders)
Given how much differently the team performed with and without him, it’s easy to see everything Hubbard brings to the table. He’s a long, bouncy athlete with great fluidity and the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Hubbard consistently finished at the rim, knocked down jumpers, and making plays defensively. He’s comfortable initiating the offense, operating from the midrange area, or applying pressure from the wing. Hubbard proved to be a major difference-maker for this group.
6’1 ’27 Hayden Hillman (Fear No One)
Arguably the best shooter in the gym, Hillman found consistent production as a focal point throughout the weekend. He knocked down three-pointers at a high volume, both off the catch and bounce, but also attacked closeouts, set up others, and finished well around the basket. Hillman plays with a ton of confidence and is comfortable burdening a sizable offensive load for this group. He’s a solid playmaker who uses the threat of his shooting to open up opportunities for his teammates. Hillman is also a scrappy defender.
6’0 ’27 Ricco Daniels (All Carolina)
There were a lot of appealing floor generals on display, which certainly includes Daniels and the way he stood out as a leader for this group. He’s a very smart, balanced guard with a crafty handle, quality vision, and reliable scoring polish. Daniels runs the team with toughness and unselfishness, showing an understanding of how to consistently get others involved, pick his spots, and contain opposing guards at the point of attack. His highly dependable game allows him to stand out without needing to ever force the action.
6’4 ’27 Aiden Horton (District 5ive)
Given the way he naturally impacts the game as a highly unselfish, team-oriented player, there’s definitely a lot to like about Horton’s identity. At 6-foot-4, he has the size, skill, and athleticism to stand out as a versatile piece on both ends of the floor. Horton is an excellent passer, switchable defender, and quality rebounder who constantly outworks opponents to make hustle plays. He’s a terrific glue-guy who operates extremely well within the flow of the action and seizes his opportunities as available.
