6’3 ’27 Jace Parris (Mt. Zion)
Given his ability to find consistent production from either guard spot, it didn’t take long to recognize the appeal of Parris. He’s a long, skilled guard with fluidity and explosiveness. Parris is a crafty scorer who can mix it up effectively from all levels, both as a creator and off-ball threat. He knocked down shots, finished strong at the rim, and made sharp passes to set up others. Parris is comfortable initiating the offense as needed. He utilizes his length and instincts well to force turnovers defensively and create transition opportunities. Parris also rebounds his position well and displays toughness on both ends of the floor.
6’2 ’27 Ryan Dobbins (Papa Pete’s)
Between his feel, perimeter shooting, and low-maintenance identity, Dobbins found several ways to make his presence felt for this group. He does a great job of operating within the flow of the team structure, confidently knocking down jumpers, moving without the ball and attacking closeouts and making the extra pass as needed. Dobbins also provides consistent energy as a defender and rebounder. He spaces the floor effectively, but doesn’t require a ton of touches to impact a game.
6’3 ’29 Caymen Davis (Cryer’s Crazies)
It’s easy to be intrigued by Davis and his identity as a young, developing wing with a blossoming skillset and an enticing array of tools. Davis is still just beginning to scratch the surface of his long-term identity, yet already finds involvement and displays natural feel on both ends of the floor. He does a quality job of making an impact within the flow of the action, competing with energy, battling on the glass, and filling in the gaps however necessary. Davis is capable of making plays with the ball in his hands, but doesn’t need to score to make his presence felt. Still harnessing his potential, he will be a prospect to monitor.
6’5 ’29 Gradyn West (Harvest Development)
Although we’ve watched him countless times over the years, it seems like West continues to make steady progress with each new viewing. At 6-foot-5, he possesses an enticing blend of ball skills, scoring polish, and overall athleticism. West continues to add strength to his wiry frame, but still has plenty of physical upside remaining. However, he’s still able to make his presence in a variety of ways. West is a smooth scorer and overall shot-maker who attacks off the bounce, finishes at the rim, and makes plays for himself and others. He defends and rebounds with energy, toughness, and physicality. Still making visible strides, West has the tools to be a noteworthy player.
