The Ranked Players
Phenom’s National Showcase is the event that has kicked off high school basketball for the last 3 years. The countries eyes are firmly planted on what goes on with this event and the national media shows up in droves to see it first-hand. The immense talent has brought in scouts from all over the country, and every major high school basketball publication.
In previous years this event has brought in NBA starters, multiple NBA Draft picks, College All Americans, McDonald’s All Americans and countless Division 1 basketball prospects. In this current field alone, there are 70 players who have already received Division 1 scholarship offers to play college basketball. An astonishing number considering there are only 21 teams participating.
With all of that status had in previous years and the level of talent that has come through, the 2017 Phenom’s National Showcase is the deepest field of talent we have had yet. As we mentioned prior, there will be 21 teams coming in from four different states and two from Canada. Truly some of the best talent in the country will be kicking off their season in this event.
This season is no different…We will have numerous 5-star and 4-star players in attendance, to compete. Let’s take a look at the numerous players who are ranked nationally and where they slot at.
