It was only a couple of years ago (2013) that Goose Creek won South Carolina's 4A State Championship. With multiple state titles since 2000, Goose Creek has most recently been a staple in South Carolina basketball, they have always been athletic and play with a passion. This year is no different, they have players on the roster, players that D1s have been in consistently to watch.

This team is led by its senior guard duo of Chris Fordham and Erick Bennett. These two have the full arsenal of excitement, explosion and the ability to score and pass the ball. Goose Creek also has some young guards to watch as sophomore Jamal McGowan and freshman Malachi Williams have very bright futures.

6'2 unsigned senior Chris Fordham
Fordham should be one of the most talked about unsigned seniors in the state of South Carolina. Schools like Wofford, James Madison, Charleston Southern and others have been through in the past couple weeks to see him play. Fordham has not disappointed as he is averaging 14.5 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and 3.5 assists per game. He is a quick twitch, explosive guard who has an ungradable first step and the upside of a lockdown defender. D1 schools should continue to be all over this one.

6' unsigned senior Erick Bennett
Bennett is a smooth shooting lead guard. He plays with a great pace on the ball and he has great length and athleticism on the defensive end. Bennett is a double figure scorer and is leading the team in assists this year. All of that added with his above the rim, eye opening explosion, D2s and D3s should love this one.
