6'3' 2019 Deuce Dean has long been a player on Phenom Hoops' radar. He has been coming to our events since the 7th grade, and he has made his presence known from the first event to the last. Dean has always been a standout player, not only because of his size as a point guard, but also because of his ability to see the floor and distribute.

As a freshman, Dean participated in our inaugural South Carolina Top 80 event. This showcase brought together the best of the best around the state of South Carolina. Per usual, Dean showed out as we wrote, 'Dean certainly passed the look test walking onto the court. He has long arms and broad shoulders with great size. Once he stepped on the court, he played with confidence and IQ on the ball. Dean scored well as he got downhill and showed an improving jump shot. Dean's camp coach Ricardo Priester stated,''Deuce has a great feel for the game for his age. He is able to score from the point position, and plays with a great pace.''Dean has great upside, and will be one worth tracking. Place him firmly on your SIM Card.'

As we mentioned above, Dean continues to get better each time out. After his performance at our Summer Havoc Live we wrote, 'A big bodied Guard who has all the skills he needs to be a D1 PG.' He runs the team well and sets teammates up to score. He's a pass first type of PG. In an OT win against a very good Landstown (VA) team he was able to show off a little bit of everything. Dean was able to lead his team to victory. He finished that game with 15pts 5ast 3reb 5stls, look for him to be a key factor.'

Currently Dean is ranked among the nation's top 200 prospects by 247Sports. He carries offers from Kansas State, Colorado State, Virginia Tech, Charlotte, High Point, St Joseph's and The Citadel.
