Phenom’s Challenge LIVE
6’7” 2018 Dalton Dodd of Pro One Select
By Jamie Shaw

“He doesn’t realize how good he is” is what Alabama basketball aficionado Garrett Tucker says. Everyone develops at their own pace and it seems that 6’7” 2018 Dalton Dodd is developing right at the pace that will get him a lot of scholarship offers starting in April.

Dodd is a 6’7” wing. He is very strong, he is athletic and he is able to score it at all three levels. His coach at Pro One Select Navy Patrick Harding stated, “I have coaches from the Conference USA to the Big South coming to watch Dodd this April, he has the highest ceiling on my roster.”

Athleticism runs in Dodd’s family as his brother Cody Dodd is a freshman pitcher on the Jacksonville State baseball team. We see it all the time in this profession, kids are blessed athletically but it takes time to get a heavy head of steam in recruitment. Well by all accounts, Dalton Dodd’s recruitment is about to take a full steam ahead approach.

After his performance at the Alabama Fall Preview, Tucker went on record saying of Dodd’s performance. “There aren’t many more skilled guys who have Dodd’s size. Capable of playing both forward spots, Dodd is able to score at all three levels with ease. He has a great looking shot and stretches the floor with his skill and shooting ability. Dodd has a high basketball IQ and seems to always make the correct play.”

College Coaches need to go ahead and get in to see Dodd. He will have a lot of eyes on him at Phenom’s Challenge LIVE and rightfully so, offers should start coming in no time.
