The day is progressing really nice, I’m not that tired, the basketball has been pretty good, and we’re only 30 minutes behind on court one so in the language of AAU that’s light years ahead.  So all things considered it’s been another great day in the office, let’s take a look at some guys that did their thing in the late morning/early afternoon.

6’0 2020 Samuel Page: Team Premier

The thing that’s hard to ignore about Page is the fact that he’s always in attack mode on the offensive end, constantly looking to get into the paint and finish at the rack or kick it out to one of the array of shooters on a solid Team Premier group.  Page is competitive defensively, rarely finding himself out of position on that end of the court.  He plays with a level of confidence that every point guard should, allowing him to be a true floor general for his team.  Look for Page to make some noise this summer before his senior year of High School.

6’5 2019 Raekwon Knuckles: Dreamville Buccaneers

Knuckles is a super long wing player that’s forced to play down low at some times, but still finds a way to attack from the perimeter when warranted.  He’s got ridiculous length that he uses extremely well defensively.  His team didn’t run much zone but he can be a serious impact zone defender on the wing for most teams.  His developing skillset is something to keep an eye due to that length and his finishing ability on the break is something else to watch.  Be sure to catch this Dreamville Bucs group play once before the Summer’s over because they can be a lot of fun on the fast break.

6’7 2019 Jeremyah McWilliams: Tennessee Prospects

McWilliams is so unique due to the multitude of ways he can be an effective contributor to a really good team.  Defensively, he’s got incredible length to go with the ability to switch onto perimeter defenders and cause issues with his athleticism.  He has a high IQ on the offensive end with an ever growing skillset that continues to improve with comfort and production.  He also is capable of making the highlight play that provides a big momentum shift for a team and has a canny ability of making those plays when his team needs them most.  He reminds me of a smaller Clint Capela in the way he plays, it will be interesting to see how his perimeter game develops as he goes through the rest of his basketball career.
