2027 Ben Mirgon is an electrifying young gem from Columbus Ohio. Down in Memphis, this young stud had an amazing two games. In game 1, Mirgon posted 8 pts, 4reb, and 14asts. He then followed that up with an incredible double-double with 11pts, 21asts, and 5rebs. This performance comes after the course of the summer session where he led the 15u team in both steals and assists.
Mirgon was third in scoring this session while shooting 34 percent from three and 48 percent overall from the field. What makes this so phenomenal is Mirgon is an 8th grader playing up with the 15u Midwest Basketball Club. You don’t see these types of numbers from a high school player, sometimes college kids. MIrgon is polished and poised and understands how to run a team at such a young age. He is the perfect point guard that fuels his team.
In his middle school season, Mirgon averaged 24pts, 8asts, 2stls, and 2blks per game. That established him as a phenom within itself. This kid is special, and his energy is clearly seen in the numbers. We will be tracking MIrgon very closely throughout his entire career. Already receiving D1 interest, it’s going to be quite a ride till the end. If you get a chance, it’s worth the travel to catch his show. You will never be disappointed and proud that you saw him when you did.
