It was a fantastic event to kick off the July period, in what should bring new names and offers to the table for several prospects.' On this one-day event, the talent was on full display, as Phenom Hoops brings what was said about players on display from our analysts.

Team: Charlotte Nets 16u

Record: 1-2

Tre'von Barnes, 6'4 2019 F ' Absolutely love the game on this kid. He is a junkyard dog type of player and the ball is his bone. He gets everything he can out of his powerful 6'4 frame and looks like he loves every second of it while out on the floor. He needs to expand range on his jumper as we saw him pass up a few open looks but that spin power move into the lane he has is tough to stop. Barnes as expected is a tough rebounder but his ability to find others as he did was a pleasant bonus. He's the type of kid any coach would take into a fight.

6’4″ 2019 Tre’Von Barnes
Tough. Very strong, very active. 2-handed rebounder. Faced up & scored with back to basket. Produced winning plays.

Quinton Thomas, 6'3 2019 W ' Thomas is a very springy and active wing that gives the other teams he is facing fits. Against a deep Team Loaded 704 squad he went for right at a double/double in the first half as they could not keep him off the glass. He knifes through the lane and has as quick a second jump as you will find at this level. Thomas also showed the ability to step out and hit the 3 in this one as well knocking down at least 3 while we were courtside. Great example of how energy and effort leads to production. Good looking wing prospect for right level in the 2019 class in the state.

6’3″ 2019 Quinten Thomas
Long w/ good strength. Great in transition. Explosive. Multi-positional defender.

Efosa U-Edosomwan, 6'2 2019 G ' Efosa has the type of game that sneaks up on you. While watching the muscle of a Barnes or the athleticism of a Thomas it is easy to miss this kid's performance. He is very efficient in his game and makes the plays he is supposed to make. He is always in the right place out on the floor to make a play and the plays he does make look easy. There is no flash here, just solid play based on strong effort on both ends of the floor.'Efosa U-Edosomwan, 6'2 2019 G ' Efosa has the type of game that sneaks up on you.
