Brand X 17s Vs WCBA Elite Blue 17s
1030 AM on Proehlific Park Court 3
This is a battle between two of North Carolina’s best non shoe sponsored teams. Brand X made quite a bit of noise in the April Live Period behind their long high flying 6’5” 2017 Rashad Dixon and 6’2 2016 Zavian Jackson. WCBA is full of college level talent that goes out and executes led by 6’ 2016 point guard Colin Molden and long 6’5” 2016 Faison Brock. Look for a great fight, but more importantly look for pride between two programs fighting for some sponsorship.
QCAA 15s Vs Team United 15s
7:40 PM on Proehlific Park Court 3
There is sure to be some animosity between these two teams, certainly not in a negative way. Players on these teams grew up playing together, currently go to school together. You have to have bragging rights, and seeing both teams are Charlotte based programs, who rules the back yard'! While both teams have highly rated players keep an eye on QCAA’s 6’8 2019 DJ Burns and Team United’s 6’5” 2018 Qon Murphy. The talent level on the court will, without question, be able to match the intensity.
UBA 17s Vs Pro Skills Elite 17s
9:40 AM on Proehlific Park Court 3
This is a rematch of possibly the Grassroots Tip Off Classic opening round match up, where these two teams went into triple overtime. During that match up, Pro Skills Elite came out on top. This time, UBA will be out for revenge, playing with a chip on their shoulder. Pro Skills is led by multiple D1 offered players 6’5” 2016 Mike Buckland and 7’1 2016 Raekwon Long. UBA has 6’6” 2015 Daquan Lilly and 6’1 2016 Casey Minor. If this game is half as good as the first one, it will be worth the view.
Team United 14U
This team has recently been named the number three (3) team in the country for their age group. In our Grassroots Tip Off Classic, they played up in the 15U age group and won the championship game by a whopping 57 points. With long and athletic D1 prospects across the floor, this team is fun to watch. With lengthy high flying wings 6’5” 2019 Juwan Gary and 6’6” 2019 Christian Brown taking most of the headlines, it is steady handed point guard 6’ 2019 JC Tharrington that stirs the drink. Make sure to get at least one viewing in.
