What a way to end the summer here at the Phenom Rise Showcase. Teams came to compete and fans got a treat, as the competition was off the charts and bragging rights were on the line. It was Championship Sunday and teams wanted nothing but to leave with some hardware.
Heading to the 14u Division, it was the Carolina Rockets vs. Basketpoint in another tight and heated battle for a championship. Both teams played strong in the first half with another back-and-forth showdown, ultimately ending with a 32-32 halftime. Second half, Basketpoint was able to create a little separation late in the second half but the Rockets were right there and competed until the end. But Basketpoint was able to come away with the strong 60-55 victory and championship in Advance.
