2025 Josiah Railey (Watauga): Railey has proven that he is a college-worthy guard here in North Carolina, and schools should look his way more. He was again excellent off the dribble, attacking downhill consistently, being physical, getting to his spots, and finishing at the rim at times in transition. Railey is excellent in creating and getting paint touches, as he did much of his work off the bounce.
2026 Jace Blocker (Watauga): Another hidden gem is Blocker, as the 6’8 forward continues to show poise down in the post. He has a strong feel in knowing how to operate around defenders, score with his back to the basket, finish with touch, and stay active on the glass. He also had several throwdowns out in transition, as he moves extremely well for a forward. Does the dirty work and just brings production.
2026 Cade Keller (Watauga): Keller led all scorers with 24 points, as he mixed it up well, picking his spots to attack off the bounce and create contact, but also finishing well around the basket and knocking down shots from the perimeter. Really helped bring a balanced attack offensively for his team.
2027 King Johnson (Freedom): Johnson is a new name to watch out for in that area, as the guard finished with 20 points and showed that he can be an offensive weapon. Was confident in his ability to rise up and knock down shots from the perimeter, hitting multiple threes, but also doing a great job in finishing over defenders and making plays off the bounce.
2025 Amore Connelly (Freedom): Connelly continues to be the go-to guy for this team, displaying a tough matchup with his blend of scoring abilities, knocking down shots, and elite athleticism. Early on, he showed his ability to knock down shots from outside but then started to attack and force the action in getting inside and at the rim. He continues to be to really watch out for as the season comes to an end.
