Down in Florida, 2028 6’3 Tai Bell from Mater Lakes is quickly becoming a name worth monitoring early on, as he has been catching the attention of many early on. After an impressive freshman season in which he averaged 26ppg, Bell is now focused on showing more of his game this summer on the big stage. The dynamic two-way guard, who is the son of NBA Raja Bell, has a lot of the intangibles that will allow him to flourish even more in the coming years, as we learn more about his game. Bell also recently added another big offer from Florida State, as he talks more about that as well.

Phenom: Congrats on the offer from Florida State. What are your thoughts on the offer and program?
Bell: Thank you. I was very excited to be offered by the new staff at Florida State. It is a great school and a great program.

Phenom: What do you know about the program and what excites you?
Bell: I know that it is a very good in-state academic school. The athletics are awesome as well. I have followed FSU basketball, and I’ve visited their football program a few times with my older brother.

Phenom: What has it been like getting these early offers?
Bell: It has been a blessing to receive the offers that I have received. It really just motivates me and makes me want to work even harder.

Phenom: How would you best describe your game and how you like to operate on the court?
Bell: I’m an aggressive guard that can create for myself and my teammates. Whether I’m scoring more or setting up others depends on my team and the game situation. I rebound well for my position and I am a disruptive defender.

Phenom: What are you hoping to show more about your game this summer?
Bell: I really just want to lead our team and win games this summer. Playing well is only part of my job. I have to put us in positions to win games. If I do that, everything will take care of itself.
