On Friday afternoon, the event ranked as one of the best in the country kicked off in Raleigh, NC. The Phenom National Showcase was loaded with talent and Phenom Hoops brought full coverage throughout the event.

Game Report
A great North Carolina matchup to end the night, these two programs brought it all to the floor. Both teams really shot the ball well in the first half. Jarvis Moss stepped up once again and put himself as one of the top shooters around the state and showed why, scoring 12 points to lead his team. Jaden Bradley was a wizard with the ball as well with 9 points. Creighton Lebo couldn’t miss and got to the free throw line on multiple occasions, racking up 13 first-half points.
Both teams shot over 61 percent from the floor and both hit three 3-pointers in the quarter. Greenfield was able to get to the free throw a little more than Cannon.
Cannon was able to create a double-digit lead (12) with 3 minutes left before halftime but Greenfield battle back to cut that down to five before the break.

In the second half, Greenfield turned it up a notch on both sides of the floor, creating turnovers and running an effective offense, eventually helping battle back and take an early lead. Cannon responded though in their own way, getting Greenfield in foul trouble.
Greenfield continued to battle until the final seconds but eventually came up short in a battle to end the night on Friday, as Cannon continued to knock down their free throws to secure the game.
