4 Unsigned Seniors to Know

A common theme among scouts and coaches alike this weekend was the amount of talent that was left unsigned in the senior class. With the early signing period have come and almost gone, colleges will quickly be reevaluation and resetting their recruiting boards.

Here are a list of players that need to be near the top of the new boards:

6’6” Deshawn Corprew (Quality Education)
Corprew announced that he decommited from Arkansas Little Rock during this event. He is a power wing type, that has a college ready body and a diverse 2-way skill set. With the likes of Cincinnati, East Carolina, and Texas in the mix early, look for many more schools this level to get involved.

6’7” Justin Miller (22 Feet Academy)
The unsung hero of the second day, Miller announced (rather loudly) that he is here. In the upset of national number 1 overall team, Oak Hill, Miller finished with 13 points and 14 boards. The sturdy Miller is a skilled forward that is a great rebounder and carries versatility from the high post. South Carolina State and Eastern Kentucky have offered look for MEAC, Southern, Sun Belt, and Big South schools to be involved.

6’3” Symon Walczak (Mountain Mission)
Walczak came into the event largely unknown and ended up leaving both days with a buzz surrounding his play. He lefty point guard has great size and a crafty nature to his game. In his first action of the season, he showed he was able to get into the lane and make great decisions to take care of the ball, and create scoring opportunities. Walczak doesn’t have much going with colleges, but expect D1s to get in and evaluate asap.

6’9” Bruno Solomun (Forsyth Country Day)
Solomun opened some eyes last week at the Phenom High School Jamboree, and with a lot of eyes on him this week he did nothing to disappoint. Solomun has a very good frame to go along with his diverse offensive skill set. He shoots with deep range and confidence, shows good hands 10 feet and in, and he is more explosive than you think. He claims Loyola (Chicago), Charlotte, and Georgia Southern offers, but expect CAA, A10, Sun Belt, etc…to take a heavy interest here.

Other D1 Unsigned Seniors

6’8” Malik Brevard (Quality Education)
5’10” Godwin Boahen (Hill Academy)
6’5” Miguel Priest (Legacy Charter)

6’5” Josh Howard (Providence Day)
