Antonio McKoy Looking to Deliver Once Again

2026 Antonio McKoy has been something special all season along, proving to be one of the top prospects in his class for North Carolina. A 6’5 physical prospect that excels in attacking downhill, can score through contact, impacts the game on the glass, and has been a proven leader on the court for Harrell’s Christian. Harrell’s is back in action with Phenom Hoops, taking on Carmel Christian early on Monday in what should be a fantastic matchup.

Myers Park Kicks Off Two Tough Days

Myers Park is an intriguing team with talent to be found, led by 2027 Thomas Vickery and company. The Mustangs look to get going on the right note again heading into 2026 with two tough matchups, starting Monday against Cannon.  Vickery, who holds multiple high-major offers, along with a strong overall nucleus, will looking to make noise against 2027 Sean Nix and Cannon’s high-scoring offense.

2028 Za’Miya Bynum Back on the National Stage

Watching Bynum over the last two seasons, she is one of our favorite young prospects here in North Carolina and the talent can be seen. She can be electric with the ball in her hands and knows how to score the ball from all levels, and again, she is just a sophomore. Bynum and Queens Grant will be in action against 2028 Justice Alexander, another premier talent here in North Carolina, back for another day and another tough matchup.  Watching these two rising stars go at it will be fun to watch.

Top Teams Square Off between Queens Grant and West Charlotte

Queens Grant and West Charlotte both find themselves in the Phenom Hoops rankings this past week, and they have shown that they have a chance to make a run at a state title. Well now, they will be facing off against each other in what should be an excellent matchup.  2028 Chase Smith has been strong, along with 2028 Mekhi Allen leading the way. But again, West Charlotte has two other sophomores that are highly ranked in 2028 Kaharri Coleman and 2028 Chacho Womack. This will be a game of premier rising talent here in North Carolina.

Combine Looking to be Flying-High

It has been a little bit of time since watching Combine Academy in action but we know they will he looking to fly high against a premier team in Gaston Christian. 2026 Jeromy Davis has been electric in watching him in the past, as he could be one of the most athletic players in the state and gets the crowd going with his ability to get to the rim. 2026 Elhadji Diallo is another premier talent who is still open but getting D1 looks. Combine will be going up against 2026 Cameron Newman and company in what should be a premier matchup on Day 2.
