Justin Boggs '6'1 160 2023 'Bishop Ireton HS (Alexandria VA)

Justin is a dynamic scorer, a high-level shooter with the ability to hit shots from anywhere on the floor either off the catch or off the dribble.' His prolific shooting is accentuated by a solid handle which allows him to get to his spots on the floor and to create space.' He likes to drive into a defender then suddenly stop and pop using the contact to create just enough space to elevate into his smooth and deadly mid-range jumper.

Justin has a textbook stroke and a seemingly limitless range.' He doesn't need much time or space to get his shot off and is unbelievably consistent from the mid range and beyond the arc.' He can step in off the dribble, run off a screen or simply flash to spots, catch and knock down shots demonstrating great mechanics from his footwork as he receives a pass-through his release.' He will even knock down a good percentage of shots with a hand in his face!' He shoots three-pointers with fluid and repeatable mechanics and is someone you have to account for literally once he passes midcourt, his range and consistency is that good!' Justin can get to the rim where he is a good finisher and has the ability to get to the line where he is extremely reliable.' Skillfully uses shot fakes and is adept at using one or two dribble pull-ups. 'Probably most dangerous in that area as he attacks hard and can stop and elevate quickly into the pull-up jumper with remarkable consistency.

Basically, Justin Boggs can flat out shoot it!' Don't let the threat of his jumper force you into hard closeouts as he can expose you with very good ball handling skills including the ability to create for himself and for teammates.' Justin plays with toughness and really competes on both ends of the floor.' He is athletic and active defensively, defends the dribble nicely and is willing to drop down and mix it up in pursuit of rebounds.' He's a threat anytime he's on the floor and from essentially anywhere on the floor! 'The ability to knock down shots translates at any level and Justin is a player coaches should have their eyes on going forward.
