Rashad Webb 6'4 155 2020 Booker T Washington HS, Norfolk VA

Rashad is a long 6'4, an extremely athletic, quick and bouncy wing with a nonstop motor! He can impact a game on both ends of the floor and in multiple ways. He can capably defend guards on the perimeter using solid technique and quick feet. He does a good job defending the dribble using very good lateral quickness and a long wingspan effectively. He employs his length and a nonstop motor well around the rim as a rebounder and contesting shots and he capably defends bigger players as he plays much taller than 6'4. Offensively Rashad demonstrates three-level scoring ability and a capable handle that allows him to make plays off the bounce for himself and for teammates. He has a great burst coupled with a rangy first step and is very quick with the dribble getting to the rim using long strides, a strong frame, and length. He can pull up and hit the mid-range jumper at a good rate or get to the rim where he can finish above the rim or hang in the air, absorb contact and finish.

Rashad uses crossovers with an extremely quick burst but what makes him so dangerous is his ability to quickly pull up off the dribble for the jumper and his great length allows him to shoot over the top of most guards. His blow-by quickness allows him to beat bigger defenders and he has the ability to make a quick read once he turns the corner and finds a cutter demonstrating some playmaking potential in addition to his scoring exploits. Rashad can hit the step-back jumper and his range with the jumper extends beyond the three-point arc. He is a threat on the glass combining a great motor with length, explosive leaping ability, and ridiculously quick repeat jumping ability. Rashad combines the athleticism, length, and skills typical of a next-level prospect. He is a player coaches should add to their watch list and I expect his productivity both as a scorer and a rebounder will command the attention of college coaches as he is primed for a strong senior season.
