#24: 5’3 ’30 Trevor Devos (Grassy Creek)

Starting off, Trevor Devos is a 5-foot-3 prospect in the Class of 2030. His unselfish approach and nonstop motor allowed him to make a quality impact on both ends of the floor. Devos is a scrappy, team-oriented guard who naturally fills in the gaps and makes plays within the flow of the action. He’s comfortable with the ball in his hands, but arguably at his best when cutting or spotting up. Devos showed the ability to knock down shots, make the extra pass, and defend with energy. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a more dynamic creator. Coach Mitchell on Devos: “Trevor does a great job running in transition. Capable shooter when open and hustles hard. Great attitude and great teammate. Very coachable!” Devos made a lot of positive contributions throughout camp and should only continue progressing over the foreseeable future.
#58: 5’6 ’30 Justin Johnson (Charlotte)

Next, Justin Johnson is a 5-foot-6 prospect in the Class of 2030. Given his ability to run a team and set the tone on both ends of the floor, he made a lasting impression without necessarily needing to score. Johnson is a very smart, poised point guard with a high motor and the ability to consistently get others involved in the action. He touches the paint, knocks down perimeter jumpers, and makes intelligent decisions with the ball in his hands. Johnson is a strong defender with sharp instincts, which allow him to contain his assignment and force turnovers on a regular basis. He’s also a reliable off-ball threat who appears comfortable operating in various roles. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a more complete player. Coach Mitchell on Johnson: “Justin is a true leader and floor general on the court. Always talking and setting up the offense when things break down. He pushes the ball in transition and often looking to make the winning play. Great spot-up shooter as well.” Johnson proved to be an asset during camp and will be a prospect to monitor going forward.
#63: 5’6 ’30 Demarius Washing (Charlotte)

Next, Demarius Washing is a 5-foot-6 prospect in the Class of 2030. Between his intangibles, scoring polish, and well-rounded identity, there’s clearly a lot to like about his game. Washing is an intelligent guard who plays with phenomenal energy and unselfishness at all times. He’s a smooth scoring threat who can finish through contact, hit jumpers off the bounce, or space the floor as a spot-up option. Washing is a useful creator, both for himself and others, and a willing passer who looks to make the right play. He’s a pesky defender who displays nice anticipation when guarding the point of attack. Washing is also a solid rebounder who can push the break in transition. Next in his development process is working on getting quicker, as it would make his penetration ability more difficult for opponents to contain. Coach Mitchell on Washing: “Demarius is a smart guard who made good plays all camp. He can shoot the open three. Solid on-ball defender who will get in the paint to grab tough rebounds. Great attitude and very coachable.” Washing stood out as a key piece throughout camp and has the tools to continue trending upward.
#88: 5’9 ’30 Jaiden Dickens (Wilson)

Next, Jaiden Dickens is a 5-foot-9 prospect in the Class of 2030. It doesn’t take long to recognize his exceptional feel and all-around skillset. Dickens possesses a very high IQ with a strong motor and scrappy, unselfish approach to the game. He’s able to score the ball with relative ease from all levels, showing the ability to create for himself and find chances as a cutter or spot-up threat. Dickens is a reliable scorer from all levels. He’s a quality penetrator with the ability to break down opponents, touch the paint, and finish or set up others. Dickens is also a terrific perimeter shooter who can space the floor from distance or pick his spots in the midrange. Add in his rugged on-ball defensive presence, and he brings a lot to a team. Next in his development process is working to improve his rebounding presence, as it would make him a more complete player. Coach Mitchell on Dickens: “Jaiden was great all camp. Shot the ball well from beyond the arc, moved without the ball on offense to get open, and was cutting to the basket at will. His basketball IQ is very high and he plays team basketball.” Dickens found constant success at camp and will be a prospect to watch going forward.
#98: 5’10 ’30 Aaron Bublitz (Chapel Hill)

Next, Aaron Bublitz is a 5-foot-10 prospect in the Class of 2030. It’s difficult to point out many weaknesses within his identity as a highly skilled, intelligent wing with great size and the ability to impact all facets of the game. Bublitz scores the ball at an efficient, yet frequent rate from all levels while actively generating clean looks for himself and others as a creator. He’s able to mix it up quite well as a scorer to keep defenses guessing, showing the ability to break down opponents, touch the paint, and knock down jumpers at a strong rate. Bublitz is a quality defender and excellent rebounder for his size/position. He does a nice job of forcing turnovers and pushing the break in transition. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it would make him a more physically imposing player. Coach Mitchell on Bublitz: “Aaron was great all camp. Made open shots, passed the ball to open teammates, and created opportunities for his team to score. Whether it was his movement without the ball, cutting to create spaces, or set away screens, Aaron made plays happen.” Bublitz enjoyed a strong showing at camp and should only continue to made strides over the coming years.
#139: 5’8 ’30 King Wilson (Mooresville)

Next, King Wilson is a 5-foot-8 prospect in the Class of 2030. Given his versatile game and ability to produce in various different roles, he made a ton of valuable contributions. Allen is a very smart, unselfish guard with terrific size and a malleable identity. He found success operating as a glue-guy who can alter his approach as needed. Wilson is a well-rounded piece who can score from all levels, set up others, and toggle between playing with or without the ball. He’s a pesky defender with the quickness and toughness to overwhelm opponents at the point of attack. Wilson is a useful rebounder who makes smart decisions with the ball in transition. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him a more complete player. Coach Mitchell on Wilson: “King is a tough guard who can finish around the rim. He’s a team-first guy who drove to kick it out to open teammates. King made some big shots in camp as well.” Wilson did a lot of things well at camp and has the tools to continue trending upward over the foreseeable future.
#141: 6’1 ’30 Brady Florenza (Apex)

Next, Brady Florenza is a 6-foot-1 prospect in the Class of 2030. Given his ability to set the tone in various types of ways, particularly as a low-maintenance piece, he consistently found ways to make his presence felt. Florenza is a smart, well-rounded wing with the size, motor, and skillset to cause a ton of problems for opponents. He’s able to make plays with the ball in his hands, but is arguably even more impactful when cutting or spotting up. Florenza does a terrific job of filling in the gaps on both ends of the floor. He finishes, knocks down open jumpers, and outworks opponents defensively. Florenza also pursues rebounds very well and gets to his spots effectively in transition. Next in his development process is working on becoming a craftier ball-handler, as it would make him a more complete player. Coach Mitchell on Florenza: “Brady was great all camp! Constantly moving without the ball, making open shots, and defending bigger players. He was not only a vocal leader, but a leader by example as well. Played hard every possession and was a great rebounder. Definitely a kid to keep an eye on.” Florenza made a lasting impression during camp and will be a prospect to monitor going forward.
#156: 6’5 ’30 Hart Smith (Charlotte)

Finishing up, Hart Smith is a 6-foot-5 prospect in the Class of 2030. Although he’s truly just beginning to harness his long-term abilities, it’s easy to see his overall appeal. Smith is already a long, fluid athlete with a high motor and quality feel for the game. He’s able to consistently finish around the basket or score out of the post, but can also knock down the open midrange jumper. Smith sees the floor well as a passer, especially for his size. He’s a strong rebounder and physically imposing defender inside the paint. Smith displays nice timing as a shot-blocker and knows how to run the floor properly in transition. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him an even better scoring threat around the basket. Coach Mitchell on Smith: “Hart was a monster in the post. Scoring around the basket and grabbing offensive rebounds. Arguably the best shot-blocker in camp. Hart defended the paint like no other. Capable shooter from 15 feet.” Smith highlighted a ton of ability during camp and has all the tools to emerge as a notable prospect over the coming years.
