Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks. Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.
WNC Elite – NLPB
One team that I was able to watch on multiple occasions was WNC Elite NLPB, bringing new names and a few familiar names that really captured our eyes. When you start with this group, you start with 2023 Caleb Senyo, a 6’3 guard that continues to produce on the court and walked away with another offer on the table. When you talk about Senyo’s game, he is a tough, rugged guard that competes on both ends; he does a great job in making plays off the dribble, creating for himself and others, and finding ways to score the ball. He can knock down shots, embrace contact and get to the basket, or find ways to get his teammates involved as well.
2024 Isaiah Littlejohn is another player that really impressed and should be getting a lot more looks after what he showed at the event. Littlejohn is coming off a high school season at Hickory HS in which he finished 28-2, and is continuing his stellar play to start the summer. He played so well, he earned one of our standouts on Day 1 where we had this to say:
“Littlejohn was one that earned my attention on Day 1 both with his offensive impact and his defensive impact. Time after time, he was one that played hard, competed, and was able to make plays on both sides of the court. He used his length and athleticism well to score the ball but also made some impressive defensive plays as well. Really liked his energy on the court.”
He continued that play all throughout, scoring the ball effectively, getting to the basket and making plays, being strong on the defensive end, and playing with a ton of energy. There is a lot to like about this young man, so he should be a name to watch more this summer.
2025 6’7 Preston Clayton and 2025 6’6 Rylan Parkins both brought good size and were effective in a variety of ways for their team throughout the event, while other players like 2023 Parker Cabe, 2024 Stefan Soh, and others filled in nicely with their roles.
