Given the steady expansion of Phenom Hoops (and grassroots basketball in general), it’s no secret that things are constantly changing. This means adding events, operating in new areas, growing our staff, or something completely unforeseen. In turn, we are proud to announce Terrell Allen as the newest addition to our team. Not only does he bring a highly professional presence to the business side of things, but his extensive experience as a player, coach, and director has also prepared him to be a notable figure in this space.

Most folks within the greater DMV area should already be familiar with Allen and his body of work. Following his playing career at Central Connecticut State, it didn’t take long for him to return to the basketball sector. In addition to being the owner of ETC Sports Group, some of his previous endeavors included being a Senior Programs Director at the Virginia Beach Sports Center, the Director of Youth Basketball at The Skill Factory, and multiple coaching stints (Boo Williams and Hampden-Sydney). Given all these notable stops, Allen already has considerable knowledge within the sports industry.

Now, Allen officially joins Phenom Hoops as our Mid-Atlantic Director. Although the partnership has already lasted several years, this expanded role will allow him to bring a wider collection of teams under our proven platform. When asked about his expectations for this new role, Allen stated, “I am excited to join Phenom Hoops as the Mid-Atlantic Director! I can’t wait to help grow the brand, connect with players and coaches, and keep pushing the game forward in our region. Big things ahead, let’s get to work!” Going forward, folks will see him organizing and operating Phenom Hoops events as a lead representative.
