Team 4

Coach: Ethan Reece

#20: 5’7 ’29 Cameron Wood (Northside)

First up, Cameron Wood is a 5-foot-7 prospect in the Class of 2029. Although he was the youngest and smallest camper on this team, he did a great job of impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Wood hits jumpers, makes the extra pass, and defends with consistent energy. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it will make him a more physically imposing defender. Coach Reece on Wood: “Cameron was very poised as the only freshman on the team. Hit a game-winning three in our last game to propel us to 3-0. Sound shooter with solid skill and the ability to play his role effectively. Small but capable defender with good IQ, habits, and is a great teammate (excellent foundation for a freshman). Needs to be more vocal to get more shots when open.” Wood made a variety of nice contributions at camp and will be a player to watch emerge for Northside going forward.

#53: 5’10 ’27 Joshua Ferguson (Bartlett Yancey)

Next, Joshua Ferguson is a 5-foot-10 prospect in the Class of 2027. His IQ, poise, and ability to consistently set the tone on both ends of the floor made him one of the top pieces on this team. Ferguson is a reliable penetrator and finisher with a tight handle, excellent vision, and sharp instincts as an all-around defender. Next in his development process is working on his shooting consistency, as it would make him a more complete player. process is Coach Reece on Ferguson: “Joshua is a true floor general and point guard with a high IQ and pass-first mentality. He knows how to attack and set up others using different actions, and makes clean deliveries in traffic. Has to become a better shooter or downhill threat because it’s difficult with defenders playing off. Josh was the best passer I saw at camp.” Ferguson highlighted a lot of positive attributes and intangibles at camp, and should be a key piece for Bartlett Yancey over the next few seasons.

#61: 5’11 ’28 Andre Ashley (West Florence)

Next, Andre Ashley is a 5-foot-11 prospect in the Class of 2028. He’s a quick, pesky guard whose high motor and anticipation allowed him to cause problems for opponents. Ashley is a solid penetrator who knows how to fill in the gaps offensively. Quality rebounder for his size/position. Next in his development process is working on his consistency as a three-point shooter, as it would make him a more complete player. Coach Reece on Ashley: “Andre is a good athlete with a wiry frame and solid motor. Probably a better defender and rebounder than an offensive threat at the current time. Displays quickness and can finish, just needs to improve his IQ and handle to know how/when to properly attack.” Ashley enjoyed a solid showing at camp and has the tools to keep progressing with continued work.

#74: 6’0 ’27 Grant Jacques (Grace Christian)

Next, Grant Jacques is a 6-foot-0 prospect in the Class of 2027. After watching him over the years, it’s unsurprising to see Jacques stand out as a dominant force for this group. He dictated the action with an incredible blend of IQ, energy, and involvement on both ends of the floor. Jacques created for others, scored with efficiency, and made a ton of plays defensively. Next in his development process is working on tightening up his handle, as it would make him an even better creator. Coach Reece on Jacques: “Grant was the MVP of this team and an extension of the coach on the floor. True leader. Vocal with infectious energy and the skill to make plays for others. Overall well-rounded game. Does very little wrong and is a knockdown shooter. Can be a very successful college-level player.” Jacques made a lasting impression at camp, securing a Top Performer award, and should be a major asset to Grace Christian going forward.

#83: 6’0 ’28 Sullivan Coleman (Liberty Prep)

Next, Sullivan Coleman is a 6-foot-0 prospect in the Class of 2028. He offered a very steady presence and looked to fill in the gaps whenever possible. Coleman displayed a high motor, unselfish approach, and toughness defensively. He did a nice job of operating within himself and not forcing the action. Next in his development process is working to get quicker, as it would make him a more dynamic threat off the bounce. Coach Reece on Coleman: “Sullivan understands guard concepts. Coachable but needs to continue working on his development across the board. Got a lot better in stations and used some moves we worked on. Possesses a sturdy frame, but needs to work on his quickness and coordination to carve out a productive role.” Coleman enjoyed a solid showing at camp and will be a player to watch progress over the coming years.

#95: 6’2 ’26 Cameron Tucker (Hargrave Military)

Next, Cameron Tucker is a 6-foot-2 prospect in the Class of 2026. It doesn’t take long to recognize his ability to run a team. Tucker displays great feel with a high motor, unselfish approach, and quality playmaking sense. He’s a crafty playmaker who excels at getting downhill and generating clean looks for himself and others. Next in his development process is working on his ability to move without the ball, as it would allow him to find easy scoring chances as a cutter or spot-up threat. Coach Reece on Tucker: “Cameron is very quick with a tight hand, which allows him to easily get to the bucket, but needs to be more assertive/aggressive. Possesses a good frame. Active and athletic with a quality two-way output. Right now, his game is too downhill driven; needs to work on perimeter shot.” Tucker did a lot of things well at camp and should be a useful piece for Hargrave during his upcoming senior season.

#126: 6’3 ’28 Baylor Roach (Wakefield)

Next, Baylor Roach is a 6-foot-3 prospect in the Class of 2028. Although he knocked down shots and offered a scrappy rebounding presence, he showed a willingness to embrace various roles. Roach made his presence felt as a spot-up threat, but also attacked closeouts and made the extra pass when available. Displayed nice physicality. Next in his development process is working on tightening his handle, as it would make him a more dynamic offensive threat. Coach Reece on Roach: “Baylor has all the skills, just needs to get a lot stronger and increase his awareness on the court. Stretches the floor well. Comfortable on the perimeter but can play inside. Already producing well but only scratching the surface of his potential.” Roach highlighted a lot of intriguing qualities during his time at camp and will be a player to monitor closely over these next few years.

#140: 6’4 ’28 Shane Lucas-Walker (Northwest Cabarrus)

Next, Shane Lucas-Walker is a 6-foot-4 prospect in the Class of 2028. Already a useful varsity contributor, he provides a strong, steady interior presence on both ends of the floor. Lucas-Walker consistently finishes, rebounds, and plays hard to outwork opponents defensively. Utilizes his body and plays very well through contact. Next in his development process is working on his ability to space the floor, as it would make him a more lethal scoring threat. Coach Reece on Lucas-Walker: “Shane is really strong, physical, and grounded. Finishes through contact and secures post position very well. Runs the floor properly in transition and is always in good spots to make a play. Understands his role. Needs to develop his midrange/face-up game to complement his post ability, as he mainly looks to operate around the basket.” Lucas-Walker should only continue to blossom as a key piece for Northwest Cabarrus over the foreseeable future.

#148: 6’7 ’26 Jaiden Carolina (Bartlett Yancey)

Finishing up, Jaiden Carolina is a 6-foot-7 prospect in the Class of 2026. Given his production as a varsity piece, it should be no surprise that Carolina stood out as an impactful piece for this group. He’s a long, high-motor forward whose activity, physicality, and nose for the ball allow him to overwhelm opponents in various ways. Next in his development process is working on getting stronger, as it would make him an even better finisher through contact. Coach Reece on Carolina: “Jaiden is a potential late-bloomer with a lot of intriguing qualities, including his array of tools and very vocal presence. Possesses great length and covers a lot of ground to push the ball off rebounds. Comfortable enough to make plays as an inside-out threat. Will be a player for schools to look at given his toolkit and general upside as a long-term prospect.” Carolina enjoyed a strong showing at camp and should be a prospect for coaches to monitor during his upcoming senior season at Bartlett Yancey.
