The 6th Annual Phenom High School Jamboree will take place Saturday, November 3rd at Northwest Guilford High School and Proehlific Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. This event has always gathered some of the top private and public school teams in the state and this year is no exception. 40 teams and 60 games will be played in an exhibition format. Now, let's take a closer look at one of the teams participating in the event.

Last season, Grimsley finished with a 12-15 overall record and played in the Metro 4A conference in the NCHSAA. Coach Griffis has an abundance of youth and is excited about the upcoming season. While Grimsley will be lead by senior Devin Resper, look for the underclassmen to play a huge role in the growth and development of this team in the 2018-19 season

6’4 2020 Ahmil Flowers'

Coach Griffis stated, “Ahmil is a super athlete that has really grown into a fine basketball player. He is a high-flyer that plays solid defense and makes a multitude of hustle plays. Ahmil has received interest from UNCG, Mars Hill, ECU, Brown, Montclair State, Randolph College and Queens.”

6’0 2020 Ronan Martinek-Jenne'

Coach Griffis stated, “Watlington has natural ability at the point guard position. He is very quick with the ball and tends to make good decisions for a young player. He works hard and has vastly improved in the offseason.”
