The Live Period is coming up with Phenom Hoops, as we hit the road and travel to Raleigh (NC) for the Phenom G3 LIVE, giving college coaches of all levels a chance to check out talent. Though there will be plenty of names to watch, Strong Center Moose will have some intriguing talent that coaches will want to check out late. A team full of seniors, there are a few names that stand out, but this is a team that should have the attention of many.
2025 Justice Mitchell
“Although we featured Mitchell yesterday, his production and generally impactful two-way identity cannot be ignored. His versatility naturally causes matchup problems for opponents on both ends of the floor. At 6-foot-6, Mitchell is too strong and athletic for perimeter players and too mobile and skilled to be contained by forwards or big men. He can reliably pass, dribble, and score in a variety of ways. Mitchell plays with great energy, both on the glass and when toggling between multiple positions defensively. Clearly a scholarship-level piece, it’ll be interesting to see where he furthers his playing career.”
“Given everything he did to assert himself as a leader, by example and through production, it’s impossible to say anything other than positives about Mitchell. He’s a strong, versatile forward with an enticing blend of IQ, ball skills, and the ability to toggle between multiple positions defensively. Mitchell is a useful creator who can attack the basket or knock down shots along the perimeter. He’s a great rebounder, especially on the offensive glass, and regularly converts second-chance opportunities through his sheer effort. Mitchell has the size and physicality to defend big men but is athletic and mobile enough to contain perimeter players. He should appeal to scholarship-level programs.”
2025 Graham Moose
“2025 Graham Moose is a player that we have watched develop over the years and he certainly is one that is looking to have a strong upcoming high school season. Moose is a guard who plays with a high IQ and feel for the game, displays good instincts, shows the ability to be a playmaker with crafty handles, does a nice job in finding teammates and playing with pace, and scores the ball effectively off the dribble as well as from the perimeter, and plays with such toughness on the court. Moose does a nice job in showing the ability to run the show for his team but he can also hurt you by being a reliable shooter from multiple levels. He also does a nice job of being scrappy and competitive on the defensive end.”
