Another year, another camp in the books for Phenom Hoops, as over 100 players attended the Phenom Exposure Camp in hopes of developing and building on their skills.  There were plenty of prospects to check out, as we intend to highlight a few that really grabbed our attention. One of those players walked away with an award, as 2026 Aden Jeffries from Southern Durham captured our eyes once again.

Jeffries has been a prospect we have had the pleasure of watching before, and our own Jeff Bendel recently wrote about him.  Here is what he had to say about his game recently:

“Standing at 6-foot-7 with incredibly long arms and a wiry frame, Jeffries’ physical profile immediately captures your attention. He’s a fluid athlete who moves very well for his size. Jeffries is able to consistently cause matchup problems due to his blend of IQ, size, creation skills, and scoring ability. He handles the ball quite well to generate clean looks for himself off the bounce, but can also set up others or find success as an off-ball threat. Jeffries is capable of applying quality scoring pressure from all levels, as he mixes it up well and knows when to attack versus defer. Although he’s already an enticing athlete, he’s still continuing to add strength and grow into his body. Jeffries is a capable rebounder with the ability to outwork opponents and push the break in transition. He’s also a disruptive defender with great anticipation for forcing turnovers.”

Jeffries has put on a show before, showcasing his ability to be a multi-level scorer on the court. He displays confidence in creating and attacking, looking for his shot from multiple levels, and is one who brings a lot of versatility to the court with his overall skillset.  And while watching him operate on the court, one can’t help but see that there is still potential left in his game. He can be used in a variety of ways, takes what is given to him, can really step up and be an offensive scoring threat, but is one that also brings value in other areas.  Jeffries showed that all throughout the camp, as he should be one to check out more this season.

What Was Said At Camp:

“Here at the #PhenomExposureCamp and 6’8” 2026 Aden Jeffries (Southern Durham) has been really impressive today. An athletic 3-level scoring wing forward that is a late bloomer, still really scratching the surface.”

“6’8 2026 Aden Jeffries (Southern Durham) is showing his ability to score in multiple areas & impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Versatile on both ends with his length & skillset. Guards multiple positions.”
