The Phenom Challenge is one of the biggest events around the region and in the country, as 180 teams look to compete at the highest level.

We are expecting a HUGE turnout for this event in Spartanburg, SC on April 26-28.' So, Phenom Hoop Report wants to do our part in starting the buzz for the event.

Players and teams, of all ages, will have a chance to play in front of college coaches throughout the weekend.' But here are a few players to watch out for, as we preview teams that will be competing.

Courtney 'Deuce' Blake Jr.'' 2021 6'1' Combo Guard'' Vance High School

Deuce is one of the best shooters in the state of North Carolina. Deuce is averaging 4 made 3's per game. Deuce uses his basketball IQ to create scoring opportunities for his teammates. On the defensive side of the ball, Deuce uses his long arms to get into passes lanes and puts pressure on the ball to create turnovers.

Tachai Miller'' 2021 5'8' Point Guard''' Independence High School

Tachai is a pure lead guard that has the ability to create for his teammates and finish over taller and bigger defenders. With the ability to finish through contact Tachai forces several fouls, while penetrated the defense. Tachai has a 4:1 assists to turnover ratio. Tachai thrives on defense by applying full-court pressure on the ball. Tachai is averaging 3 steals per game.

Jasiah Wilson''' 2021 6'1' Guard/Forward''' Hickory Grove Christian School

Jasiah is the prototypical glue guy. Jasiah is averaging 3 made 3's per game, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and always takes the most challenging defensive assignment. Jasiah plays with great passion and provides great leadership for the team.

Christian Reid 2021 6'3' Forward''' Phillip O Berry High School

Christian is an athletic forward that plays bigger than his size due to his long arms and 6'7' wingspan. His toughness and intangibles are a coach's dream. Christian is the leading rebounder on the team averaging 8 rebounds per game.

Justice Asante'' 2021'' 6'4' Forward'' Vance High School

Justice is an athletic forward that plays on the wing and can mix it up down low with the bigs. Justice has a nice shooting stroke but is at his best facing up his defender and taking them off the bounce. Justice has a huge upside as he continues to develop his all-around game.

Aaron Hall''' 2022'' 6'5'' Forward''' Phillip O Berry High School

Aaron is a true freshman and has tremendous upside. Aaron is a long athletic player that is more comfortable on the perimeter than inside. He has great range out to the 3-point line on his shot. Aaron can defend in the post and perimeter. Also, does a great job of rim protecting.

Blair Crumbie'' 2022'' 6'2' Guard/Forward'' Piedmont High School

Blair is an athletic wing that loves to attack the basket. Blair brings a competitive edge every time he steps on the court. Blair defends multiple positions and is a great rebounder in traffic from the wing position.

Cam Moses'' 2021'' 5'9' Guard'' Mountain Island Day School

Cam is a great spot up 3-point shooter on the wing. Cam loves to put pressure on the ball as a defender and thrives when jumping in the passing lanes to create turnovers.

Tyler Richardson'' 2021'' 5'10' Guard'' Garinger High School

Tyler has proven to be a reliable 3-point shooter during the travel ball season. Tyler is shooting over 40% from behind the 3-point line in 15 games. Although Tyler is shooting well from long range, his best attribute is getting out on the wing, running the floor and putting pressure on the defense to protect the basket.

Khyrin Richardson'' 2023'' 6'3' Forward'

Khyrin is a long and athletic playmaker. Khyrin has a great shooting stroke from the 3-point line and loves to attack off the bounce. With his long arms, Khyrin puts an emphasis on playing the passing lanes and deflecting passes. Although he is one of the younger players on the team, Khyrin has a high basketball IQ.
