2023 5’9 Leonard Romayor Jr.: A young prospect that showed he has tremendous handles and sees the floor well. As a young prospect, he displayed an understanding of picking his spots, reading the defenses and attacking when he can, but also finding his teammates in open positions. Just has that natural feel with the ball in his hands and making plays happen.
2023 5’11 Mark Brown: Brown was another young prospect that had flashes in his game. He showed that he played with his head up, reads opponents well, and has a nice blend of athleticism and scoring ability on the floor.
2023 6’7 Landon Shumaker: Shumauker plays hard on both ends of the floor, battled down low, moved well without the ball to get to his spot, and showed his ability to knock down jumpers and compete on the boards.
2022 6’11 Adrame Diongue: Diongue certainly captured your attention with his 6’11 frame but the length and mobility for someone at his size is tough. He is a defensive presence down low as a shot blocker but runs the floor really well, gets to his spot, and moves well without the ball. He will be a target for sure the stronger he gets. Also showed that he is confident to put the ball on the deck and attack.
2021 6’8 DaRon Holmes: Holmes was absolutely tremendous on the floor with his versatility. He showcased that he can impact the floor at multiple positions, handle the ball, plays absolutely tough on both ends, and with a motor. His blend of size and mobility is BIG TIME.
2022 6’2 Nate Pickens: Pickens is a guard that can play multiple positions but works best with the ball in his hands, creating for himself, getting his defenders on his hip, and attacking the rim. He can create with the dribble but also knock the open jumper.
2022 6’1 Dasean Lecque: This young man doesn’t lack confidence and hit some TOUGH shots on the floor, whether it was pulling up and knocking down jumpers over defenders or attacking the lane. He is a creative scorer on all three levels and has impressive handles.
2025 6’10 Maper Maker: It is simply unfair to think that you have a prospect with his size and youth, but can handle, compete, and showcase flashes of what the future may be like. He has big-time talent written all over him, showing that he can step out, put the ball on the deck, and play on multiple levels. Going up against Holmes, he really competed and it is impressive that he can handle himself at a young age.
