6’1 2028 Davonta Lindsey (North Mecklenburg)
Davonta Lindsey is a smooth, crafty point guard with the ability to beat you in a variety of ways. The lefty does a great job of balancing playmaking and shot-making. He gets to his spots and keeps the defenders on their heels with his change of pace and ability to hurt you from the perimeter. He shoots the ball with confidence. Lindsey is a huge addition for North Mecklenburg, and expect him to play a major role in their goal of winning three straight state championships.

5’10 2028 Bobby Montgomery (Queens Grant)
Bobby Montgomery is in the conversation as the best shooter in the state regardless of class. He is a knock down shooter with tremendous range and one of the smoothest releases you’ll see. If he is left open, he is almost automatic off the catch with time and space. He understands how to play without the ball, use screens, and get his feet set ready to shoot quickly. In addition to his sharp shooting ability, Montgomery is a comfortable playmaker and has the ability to create off the bounce and find the open man. But even more important is his activity level on the defensive end. He is an absolute pest on the ball. Montgomery will once again be another key part in Queens Grant’s success this season.

6’6 2028 Aiden Dalton (Forsyth Country Day)
Aiden Dalton will be a key piece at Forsyth Country Day this season as they look to make another title run. He is a clear Division 1 prospect given his size, athleticism and skill. He is a versatile forward who has the ability to guard multiple positions. He has a strong frame, so he’s capable of battling on the interior. But more importantly, he has good footwork at that size and can switch onto smaller guards and contain them on the perimeter. Offensively, Dalton is comfortable operating inside and out. While he is capable of spacing the floor, he is at his best using his strong frame to finish at the rim.

6’3 2028 Trevor Holland (Caldwell Academy)
Expect Trevor Holland to have an expanded role this season at Caldwell Academy. Holland has the ability to beat you with or without the ball in his hands. While he is more than capable of creating with the ball in his hands, what makes Holland so effective is his ability to shoot the basketball and understand how to move without the ball. He understands angles, how to use screens, and is an opportunistic cutter off the ball. In addition, he is a tough player who competes every possession.

6’1 2028 Rob Beasley (Hibriten)
Rob Beasley got off to a hot start on Sunday in Game 1 at the NC Sophomore 40 with a 24-point performance. He is a smart guard who plays under control and has the ability to play either guard position with his ability to create for himself and others. He showcased deep range with his ability to knock down shots well beyond the three-point line. He also has legit vertical pop as he was able to create off the bounce, get downhill and finish at the rim. Beasley averaged 17 PPG last year as a freshman. Expect him to take another big jump during his sophomore campaign.
