2027 Braden Miller (Lake Boys)

Miller really impressed with his overall feel and touch as a big man, as he looks to be the anchor down low this year for Lake Norman. He runs the floor well, gets to his spots down low, shows poise, control, and touch around the basket, along with strong activity on the glass. I expect him to have a strong season this year.

2026 Bryan Little (Panthers)

Little may have been the most athletic prospect in the gym on Saturday, as the football-like prospect was an absolute monster at the rim. He finished multiple thunderous dunks, bullied opponents down in the paint, created and forced contact, and was consistently finding ways to get the line.  I really do like his overall impact and motor on the court, as he continues to be an underrated player to watch.

2028 Gary Grear (TMF)

Pine Lake Prep will be an interesting team to watch this season, and much of that will be on the shoulders of Grear.  He looks bigger and stronger, and is already showing to be the No. 1 option offensively for this team, especially with his ability to create off the bounce, get to his spots, attack and get paint touches, and knock down shots from the perimeter. He has had a big summer and expect that trend to continue.

2027 Will Hall (Team Blue)

Hall, a 6’7 player that will be a big piece for Carson this year, brings a lot of intrigue with his blend of size and ability to knock down shots. With his length and comfort level in operating from the perimeter, Hall does a great job in finding the open spots and making opponents pay from outside. He has a confident release from behind the arc but also can attack to get to the rim.

2027 Jayden Haynes (Wall West)

Haynes was a new name that I really enjoyed watching on Saturday, as the 6’3 prospect played hard and competed on both sides. When watching him, he did a great job in attacking downhill and out in transition, scoring effectively and allowing his energy/defense to turn into offense. He should be a versatile piece for West Cabarrus this season.

2028 LJ Wall (Stanly County)

South Rowan will have names to learn and one player that opened up some eyes this weekend was 2028 LJ Wall. He brings size to this team, impacts the game as a scorer, attacks the glass well and creates opportunities for himself, is comfortable in operating from the perimeter, and is an effective option offensively with good athleticism.  Wall could have a breakout
