We’ve reached the point in the high school season when things begin to shift. Despite all the preseason competition, holiday showcases, and subplots throughout, this time is arguably as exciting as any period in the year. Each game has playoff implications. Teams enter the final stretch of games before postseason play. However, this is also the stretch when folks start paying attention to blossoming prospects. Although he’s been a consistent standout at Phenom Hoops’ events in the past, it’s clear that Noah Dulin is taking the next step in his progression. Let’s take a closer look…

It’s been stated that Dulin is a noteworthy two-sport athlete (football and basketball) who has the tools and ability to realistically explore either option at the next level. Based on what he’s shown on the hardwood, that sentiment certainly rings true for basketball. Although folks knew he was a talented young player with the mentality, skillset, and athleticism to be an excellent player, Dulin has accelerated his timeline quicker than expected. This season, the 6-foot-2 guard is averaging 19.5 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 3.1 SPG, and 1.2 BPG with 49/31/64 splits. He’s comfortably asserting himself as a leader and focal point while still making visible strides as an overall prospect.

In addition to always being one of the better pure athletes on the court, Dulin has the feel and polish to reliably dictate the action with the ball in his hands. He’s at his best when getting downhill and putting pressure on the rim, which he’s capable of doing in transition or the half court. However, Dulin is a capable shooting threat with the ability to hit jumpers off the catch or bounce. He’s a willing passer and useful cutter. Dulin’s motor and quick second/third jump allow him to rebound the ball extremely well for his size/position. Add in his tough, physical defensive presence, and it’s easy to see all the ways he’s progressed. There’s no determining what he’ll ultimately pursue in college, but he’s definitely making himself a name worth noting.
