6’3 Josiah Guyton (Lincolnton)

It’s very possible that no individual boosted their stock this season more than Guyton. His transfer to Lincolnton led to a major breakout season, as his production took insane leaps across the board. Now, Guyton should have no lack of schools vying for his services. He puts on an absolute clinic basically every single night, effortlessly filling it up as a scorer from all levels, creating for others, and making his presence felt defensively. Although Guyton is already quite refined, his game will only continue to blossom as his body adds strength in college.

6’6 Will Seward (Hoggard)

Given college coaches’ unwavering desire for polished big men, it feels like Seward should be a much bigger priority for coaches. He’s a highly skilled post player with impressive touch, footwork, and feel on both ends of the floor. Seward rebounds his position well and utilizes his length to effectively block or alter shots defensively. He’s comfortable operating on the block, but can also apply efficient pressure from midrange or beyond the arc. Seward is a fluid athlete who should only continue to trend upward over the next few years.

6’4 Luca Sarnowska (Calvary Day)

Between the team success and individual production, there’s no real justification for Sarnowska’s lack of college opportunities. He legitimately plays harder than anyone in the state. Sarnowska is a tough, rugged, physically imposing wing who can operate in various different roles or positions on the floor. He’s strong enough to reliably defend bigger opponents or make life extremely difficult for smaller guards. Sarnowska’s infectious energy and toughness make him an excellent rebounder and defender. He’s a quality finisher who does a terrific job of finding offensive chances within the flow of the action.

6’0 Tyrin Graham (Forsyth Country Day)

Although there are a ton of college-worthy guards throughout the state, Graham feels somewhat overlooked at this stage in his recruiting process. Regardless, he stands out as key cog on arguably the top private school team in North Carolina. Graham is a natural combo guard who can initiate the offense as needed, but is at his best when applying pressure as a perimeter shooter. He’s a lethal spot-up threat with deep range and a quick release. Graham also displays crafty shot-making ability off the bounce, and is comfortable attacking closeouts as needed. He also defends with energy and toughness.
