There are plenty of players we are excited to see this upcoming season, as they look to make a statement and possibly see an uptick in recruitment. A prospect to keep an eye on this season for me will be 2027 6’5 Caiden Jenkins, a guard that has shown in the past to be an effective scoring weapon with positional size.
Now playing at Ambassador Christian this coming season, Jenkins will be one of the primary focal points for this offense along with some strong overall talent, shooters, and scorers. Jenkins, though, is one that has tremendous size at 6’5 and has proven to be an effective presence as a playmaker, scorer, and an impact player in a variety of areas. Whether he is one that has to step up and be a scoring force or get others involved, Jenkins offers a wide variety of production on the court. With a mature overall feel along with his confidence, Jenkins offers a lot on the court and could be that sneaky prospect that starts moving up the boards for college programs with a strong showing at his new school. He should be a prospect worth watching and monitoring more this season, looking to help lead the Lions to a big season ahead.

“Jenkins simply set the tone in this game, coming out strong and making a statement for his team. He was on a tear early on, scoring 20 points in the first half and continued to play well within the game in the second half. Jenkins was consistent in showing his ability to score from multiple levels, getting to his spots off the catch, or also being able to create his own opportunities. However, he didn’t force anything on the court as well, playing within the offense, attacking off the dribble, and doing a great job in finding open teammates as well.”

The 6’4 guard/wing showcased a balanced offensive approach—able to create, make plays for others, and score from all three levels. He also brought consistent effort defensively and on the glass, rounding out a complete two-way performance. Jenkins’ poise, versatility, and impact were evident from start to finish.”
