1A:
Semifinals
#1 United Faith vs. #4 Crossroads Christian
#2 Victory Christian vs. #3 Northside Christian
United Faith was able to cruise to start the playoffs, and will now face Crossroads Christian who was able to squeak by against New Garden Friends. UFCA continues to show why they are one of the top teams, bringing a balanced attack, so Crossroads will have their hands full in slowing them down on the road. Northside Christian and Victory Christian meet for the first time officially, and this one should get interesting. Going on the road, Northside has been battled-tested and had strong guards that can get it done on both ends. VCCS though has scoring guards of their own, along with athleticism and strength in the paint. It may come down to which team can knock down shots, especially from their guards and perimeter. This looks to be the game to watch in the 1A.
2A:
Quarterfinals
#1 The Burlington School vs. Burlington Christian
#4 Trinity Christian vs. #5 Davidson Day
#3 Fayetteville Academy vs. #6 Wayne Country Day
#2 Greenfield vs. Caldwell Academy
The 2A Division brings us EXCITING matchups to watch out for. TBS and Burlington School won’t have to travel far for them to meet up, as TBS looks to continue their playoff success against upset-minded Burlington Christian. Trinity Christian and Davidson Day are two teams that have been battle-tested, with Trinity Christian bringing a strong inside-out presence, but Davidson may be able to match that with their perimeter game and size as well. But they will have to do that on the road in what will be an intense game.
Fayetteville Academy and Wayne Country Day should be exciting, as these teams split the regular season. They will be heading to Fayetteville, where this team has been strong all year long behind a balanced attack but Wayne brings their own weapons behind Carlos Vazquez and company. The other game to watch is the guard battle between Caldwell Academy and Greenfield. Both have rising stars along the perimeter, but can Caldwell hit the road and earn the big win or will Greenfield’s experience and depth be too much'
