The movement continues.

As the transfer portal reshapes rosters across the country, North Carolina products remain heavily involved—making moves at every level of college basketball. From Power 5 programs to mid-major impact players, these former in-state standouts are finding new opportunities and positioning themselves for bigger roles.

Here’s Part 2 of our look at former North Carolina high school players on the move:

Jordan Lowery

From: UT Arlington → To: Cleveland State
Lowery is a tough, physical guard who brings energy on both ends. He defends, rebounds well for his position, and contributes as a downhill attacker. His motor and toughness fit well in a competitive Horizon League environment.

Josh Dalton

From: LMU → To: Elon
Dalton brings size and versatility to the wing. He can stretch the floor, score in multiple ways, and provide a steady presence offensively. His ability to impact the game without forcing shots makes him a strong addition.

Jaylen Cross

From: Wake Forest → To: Coastal Carolina
Cross is an athletic wing with the ability to slash and finish at the rim. He plays with energy, runs the floor well, and has the tools to be an effective two-way contributor in a new system.

Chance Gladden

From: Boston University → To: San Diego State
Gladden is a quick, shifty guard who can create off the bounce and put pressure on defenses. His speed and playmaking ability give him upside in a structured, defensive-minded program like SDSU.

Treyvon Maddox

From: Miami → To: UNC Wilmington
Maddox is a skilled wing who can score and facilitate. He has a good feel for the game, plays under control, and can stretch the floor. His versatility should translate well in a larger role.

Christ Essandoko

From: South Carolina → To: Bowling Green
A big-bodied center who brings physicality inside. Essandoko rebounds, protects the rim, and finishes around the basket. His presence gives Bowling Green a strong interior option.

Abu Yarmah

From: South Carolina → To: Longwood
Yarmah is an active forward who plays with energy and effort. He rebounds, defends, and runs the floor well, bringing toughness and versatility to the frontcourt.

Cole Cloer

From: NC State → To: Alabama
Cloer is a highly intriguing addition with size, skill, and upside. He can stretch the floor, handle the ball, and impact the game in multiple ways. His development in a high-level SEC system will be one to watch.

Freddie Dillione

From: Penn State → To: Georgia
Dillione is a dynamic scoring guard who can heat up quickly. He creates his own shot, attacks the basket, and brings offensive firepower. His scoring ability adds depth and punch to Georgia’s backcourt.

Jackson Keith

From: Butler → To: Davidson
Keith is a smart, skilled wing who fits well in a system that values IQ and spacing. He can shoot, move without the ball, and make the right play, making him a natural fit for Davidson’s style.

Max Frazier

From: Central Connecticut → To: Hampton
Frazier is a forward who plays with confidence and pace. He can score, facilitate, and push the tempo, giving Hampton multidimensional forward.

Colt Langdon

From: NC State → To: Marshall
Langdon is a tough, hard-nosed wing who competes on both ends. He brings energy, defensive intensity, and the ability to contribute in multiple roles.

Elijah Strong

From: South Carolina → To: Saint Louis
Strong is a versatile forward with a strong frame and inside-out scoring ability. He can step out and knock down shots, attack off the bounce, and finish through contact. His physicality, rebounding, and offensive versatility should allow him to make an immediate impact in the frontcourt.

Richard Goods

From: Stony Brook → To: South Florida
Goods is a physical interior presence who impacts the game with his strength and activity around the basket. He rebounds at a high level, finishes efficiently inside, and brings toughness on the defensive end. His ability to control the glass and anchor the paint should translate well at the next level.
