No. 148 6’3 ’18 Jaylen Richard (Durham Southern/NC)

Jaylen was an immediate impact player. The athletic wing guard was very aggressive on both sides of the court. He played with a high motor and demonstrated a tremendous work ethic. Coach Renfrow stated, “Jaylen was one of the players we depended on. He is very quick and can score easily in transition.” Overall, Jaylen has a huge upside. The next step in his development is to become more vocal and exert his leadership on the court. Avg. 13 PPG

No. 179 6’2 ’18 Delton Davis (Franklinton HS/NC)

Coach Renfrow stated it best; “Delton was a ball of energy all day. He is a player that will get his team plenty of second chance points.” We were impressed with his overall hustle. Delton played with purpose and constantly made one positive play after another. In addition, he rebounds extremely well for is size/position. The next step in his development is to continue to enhance his perimeter skills.

 

No. 182 6’3 ’19 Shawn Walker (Northeastern HS/NC)

Shawn is blessed with raw athletic ability. He plays at an aggressive pace and is a player who makes things happen. Coach Renfrow stated, “Shawn was an athletic force that was always around the ball, especially on the offensive end of the court.” Currently, Shawn’s athleticism exceeds his current skill set which is often naturally for young players. The next step in his development is to fine-tune his jump shot.

 

No. 219 6’5 ’17 Shalolong Wang (Oak Hill Academy/VA)

Shalolong plays with poise and maturity. Coach Renfrow stated, “Shalolong was a great teammate and always kept his composure during the game. He has a good shot and can hit from any range.” In addition, we were impressed with his movement without the ball. Shalolong has excellent court vision and simply know how to play. He makes thing happen.

 

No. 222 6’5 ’17 Tahj Small (Northern Durham/NC)

Simply put, Tahj had a terrific day. He was the second leading scorer at the camp with a 23 PPG average. Tahj combines tremendous athleticism and an advanced skill set. Coach Renfrow stated, “ Tahj is a player that can choose his limits. He has to work on his motor and the defensive end to match the offensive end” Overall, Tahj was active throughout the day. His upside is really good as he continued to showcase his moves to the rim.
