Molineux is a natural leader and plays with a general toughness and eagerness to play the point. He is very quick and sturdy and can score at the basket as well as distribute for his team. Molineux’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Cody is a quick point guard who can score and facilitate his offense. He has good court vision.”
#41 5’11” 2018 Daviar Dixon of Winston Salem Prep (Winston Salem, NC)
Dixon played with a great attitude and gave great effort and basketball IQ. He is a very quick point guard who has the ball on a string as he attacks the paint. Dixon’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Daviar is a very good point guard. He is very quick and can finish in traffic or shoot the three.” Colleges, go ahead and place Dixon on your SIM Card.
#59 6’ 2017 Gabriel Dickerson of Alliance Christian (Portsmouth, Va)
Dickerson was a team first player at the point. He handled the ball very well, keeping the ball out of danger, and he played great transition defense. Dickerson’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Gabriel handled the ball well. He is quick and carried a great attitude as a team mate. He’s a good point guard.”
#88 5’9” 2019 Chase Graham of Athens Drive High School (Raleigh, NC)
Graham had a great attitude throughout camp. He accepted coaching and displayed graet basketball IQ to go along with very good jump shot mechanics. Graham’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Chase is quick and can handle the ball well. He shoots so well, but could end up being a point.”
#100 6’1” 2018 David Kasanganay of Ardrey Kell High School (Charlotte, NC)
Kasanganay is a very quick lead guard, who plays with a high IQ and gives maximum effort on both ends of the floor. Kasanaganay was able to get into the lane often, and he showed balance and ability to finish when there. Kansanaganay’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “David handles the ball extremely well. He is very hard to stop one-on-one, as he is very quick. David is comfortably switching between the one and the two.” It will be interesting watching him as he grows.
#122 6’2” 2017 Zane Rankin of Butler High School (Charlotte, NC)
Rankin is very quick and athletic. He has a great attitude and was able to score the ball from beyond the arc and in the lane. Rankin’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Zane is an outstanding player. He is athletic, quick and carries good fundamentals. Zane has the ability to end up as a very good player.” It is time colleges at the appropriate level start watching here.
#133 6’3” 2017 Michael Grigg of Christ the King (Davidson, NC)
Grigg is a fundamentally sound player, who constantly goes hard. He has a great frame to go along with his ball handling ability and his range expands well beyond the arc. Grigg’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Michael handles the ball very well. He is quick and shoots the three well.” It is time colleges at the appropriate level start watching here.
#147 6’3” 2017 Rodney Womble of Dan River High School (Danville, Va)
Womble had a great attitude throughout camp, giving great effort and defending the ball very well. He has a solid handle and good form on his jump shot. Womble’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Rodney is a very strong and quick player. He is also able to handle the ball well.”
#154 6’4” 2018 Damon Early of Hough High School (Huntersville, NC)
Early is a very strong player who gives great effort defending and rebounder. Offensively, he has solid touch and quickness around the basket. Early’s camp coach Dan Chaffey stated, “Damon is a very strong and quick rebounder. He finishes well and has great court sense around the basket.”
