Cunningham displayed a great attitude throughout camp, and showed great effort and acceptance of coaching. He showed great comfort scoring the ball, showing deep range along with the ability to score in the mid-range. As he continues to grow, we would like to see Cunningham work on the ability to make his team mates better.

Michael Cunningham can flat out score! A very good shooter with range, excellent shot mechanics and a quick release, Cunningham has displayed the ability to not only score from deep but to shoot the ball exceptionally well off screens, off the dribble and in the mid range area. He has a very good handle and playmaking ability and demonstrated during a solid freshman season that he possesses the offensive versatility to be an impact player at the high school level. Michael is able to play either guard position, has quick feet, excellent vision and IQ. He is a very good on ball defender and brings leadership and energy every time he takes the floor. Has excellent lateral quickness and footwork. He’s one of Virginia’s top 2018’s!
